Figured a game of this magnitude deserved its own thread, and I saw it was being discussed in the "What are you playing now?" thread.

I'm currently at about 2750 SR on PS4. I mostly play Junkrat, Reinhardt, D.Va, Zenyatta, Moira, and Orisa. Hero 27 should be dropping pretty soon.

I'll try to keep this thread updated with news and other stuff, and feel free to talk about the OWL in here if anybody is fans of that.

Brigitte Lindholm confirmed as Hero #27 -- will be a support / defensive character capable of shielding the entire team with her ultimate.

Yeah I didn't want to buy into the hype but almost a year later I still cram hours into this.

Placed in gold the last few times so I'm hopeful I'll be able to place in platinum this time around with my buddies.

I try not to main and be flexible but I definitely gravitate towards tanks.

Fucking love this game and will now start playing competitive. Tried it out right at the end of last season and did pretty well.

Fun game. Been a few seasons since I’ve played. it’s definitely not something I would recommend playing solo. if you’re a lone wolf kind of player, which I kind of am, the stupidity of people on your team in such a team based game might be hard to overcome [emoji30]

I also play on PS4. Finished last season at 2888 but haven't done any placements this season. I'm a Lucio/D.Va main but I can play all the supports and all the tanks except Rein. Recently I've been focusing less on the comp ladder and more on my team in Overguard, which is this free league you can on any console and play against other teams (kind of like a rec basketball league). Last season our team finished second in the underground division (lowest division) and it was a blast. The games even have commentators and are streamed live from an audience perspective. It's really cool.

I also love OW League - I feel like I learn a lot and have become a huge fan of the Houston Outlaws. Honestly watching the Outlaws has gotten me through my disappointment in how bad this Knicks season has turned out.

We've got a local 'esports cafe' that serves coffee and the like and shows big esports events in house. They have huge watch parties for all of the Outlaws games. I'll have to drop by one even though I"m not a huge OW fan.

Sounds like we have the makings of a decent team in this thread. Last season I played I topped out at ~2950 solo queuing.

I play DPS/Heal/Support (terrible tank), mainly Soldier, McCree, Ana, Mercy, Lucio, Mei

Might be the first Blizzard game I didn't like. Even then, I can see the appeal, and it's a fantastic premise for a multiplayer game. I've tried it twice and just couldn't get into it.

I had a few games for the placement matches where I kept getting stuck with garbage teammates. Luckily a couple friends hopped on to help win me some of em.

Still haven't tried ranked cuz ladder anxiety I'm plat in the MOBA world and am afraid of being annoyed by placing lower than that in OW

But seriously, the game is so fun. I don't even like online shooters that much, and this game is incredible.

Cannot WAIT to play Brigitte. I've settled in on playing mostly support and a little tank, so she's seriously right up my alley. Any PC players tried her out on the PTR?

Honestly thought I was the only one who didn't enjoy this game. I had been looking forward to it for so long. Played the first two seasons and got 4k+ but it got stale fast. It's also a horrible game to spectate.
