Yeah, it was coming together nicely at the end.
Windler didn't play last year so it will be like we're getting two first round picks this year. Plus Drummond will be with the team in training camp instead of walking in halfway through the season so there will be time to better incorporate what he does instead of doing it on the fly.
It also looks like Sexton, Garland, and Porter will be better. The only downside is the potential loss of Thompson, but even if we lose him those minutes will be absorbed by Drummond who is probably a better overall player at the same position.
I honestly think the Cavs will be one of the surprise teams this year and even more so if they sign Thompson and/or trade the #5 pick for an established starter that can contribute immediately. Even if they don't sign TT and keep the #5 pick I like this team's potential and their flexibility to go big or small depending on the opponent.
