Insane. If you can’t go to the booth, you know, because of the virus that originated in China, then they should postpone the election until next year.
Way too many issues that could happen with EVERYONE doing mail ins.

Donald Trump has blamed his intelligence officials for failing to alert him to the gravity of the coronavirus threat, which he spent nearly two months ignoring and downplaying as it escalated. “They did NOT bring up the CoronaVirus subject matter until late into January, just prior to my banning China from the U.S.,” he tweeted this month, overstating the action he took in the early days of the crisis. “Also, they only spoke of the Virus in a very non-threatening, or matter of fact, manner.” But according to a New York Times report Thursday, it wasn’t so much that intelligence agencies didn’t warn him about the looming pandemic—it’s that Trump is, as he might put it, a “low IQ individual” who cannot understand or pay attention to his briefings.

Ok, let's break this one down.

First, why interject the fact that the virus originated in China? Your phrasing makes it sound like that has something to do with your opinion (which is that we should postpone the election).

Second, what issues are you worried about due to mail-in balloting?

Third, do you have concerns over the security of our in-person election systems?

Do you know who becomes President if the election is postponed a couple months?

1. Because if I call it the Wuhan virus, someone will get emotional and ban me for 30 days.
2. A. Millions of votes have not been counted according to the federal voting commission.
B. No assistance if you need help voting or even filing your ballot.
3. Voting fraud. As in intimidation, vote buying which has been seen in NC, Mississippi and Texas in recent years.
No one around to guide and patrol the voting booths.
It’s very plausible that a hillbilly Trump fan robs a little old lady wanting to vote for Biden, steals the ballot and marks Trump.

He can reply but Voter Fraud is infinitesimal.

And there is zero proof that voter fraud exists in higher number in states with vote-by-mail.

Which votes were not counted?

1. You're still not answering why you interjected it into a situation where it apparently has no impact. Everyone knows it originated in China. What does that have to do with postponing an election? It'd be like me throwing in "bologna is processed meat byproducts" into this one.

2. I agree with Stannis that voter fraud is a negligible issue. If you have examples of significant levels of voter fraud that haven't been debunked, I'd love to hear them.

3. I have tons of concern about our current electoral system. The voting machines are insecure--specifically the electronic ones. They are closed-source, vulnerable, often old and out-of-date, hackable, and are almost always left unattended, and some have even been found connected to the internet. Some don't even provide a paper ballot to audit and check the results for correctness. We need to take voting security seriously--so why is it only in times of making voting more accessible that the GOP gets concerned?

It's murky, because not just the President is elected in the general, but also congresspeople. But, assuming that the Democrats still controlled the House, and Pelosi was still speaker, she would become POTUS until a new President and VP would be elected

I know the Speaker of the house is 3rd in line but like Rafters just said, every Congressperson has a 2 year term so Pelosi is up for reelection just like Trump/Pence. Why wouldn't the President remain in office if the vote is delayed? Does it explicitly say he wouldn't in the Constitution?
