I’m in the minority in that I really enjoyed the combat.

TTS is in vr
That's cool, id still like an official game that can be brought to the quest audience. I have friends with oculus that would love to play these type of games but don't have a gaming pc and can't build one anyway if they wanted to because of the gpu market.

Do you mean the actual tabletop game, or just something set in the 40k universe?

Because I can't imagine GW bringing the game to PC. Too much money in the miniatures

They already have one game with another on the way in the 40 k universe. I'm talking about the actual table top game.

There’s like a billion WH40K video games. Only a few super high profile ones though.

To be clear, they've never really converted the core game. There are lots of games that take place in the 40k universe-- but they still want you to buy the miniatures to play actual 40k

Correct. Was referring to TyGuy’s post that implied there is only two games set in 40K, lol. There are tons.

Never played the actual tabletop but went through a phase where I really wanted to collect and paint them recently. Time and money just hasn’t been there. It’s one of my favorite fictional universes.

I think @TyGuy may have been referring to VR games. Not sure.

I just played my first 40k game today in like 15 years with my brother.

Yeah, I’m referring specifically to the oculus platform. There is one game currently with one in the works. A table top game would be fantastic if the board game demeo is anything to go by.

Oh maybe he was. I’m that guy that barely acknowledges VR exists.
The oculus quest is a great jumping on point. It’s cheap, easy to setup, has good games and doubles as a pcvr headset if you have a gaming pc. You can even play pcvr wirelessly over your 5ghz wifi band.

I’ve been playing half life Alyx and other games in my garage when it isn’t 100 degrees.

A portable gaming pc in the price range of a switch that can play your entire steam library.

I put in a reservation for the most expensive model. Said it would probably be available Q2 2022 so I guess I know what I'm using next year's tax return on.
