The "What are you playing now?" Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Once you level your magic up to 50, there's no point in going any further. Firestorm and Soul Ray will basically one shot most mobs at that point for at least the first couple NG runs.

There's one other enemy in that world that I hate worse - the reapers that summon ghosts. Pretty much insta-death if you can't get to them quickly enough.

How far along have you gotten now?

Haven’t played much since I killed armored spider, just been busy traveling and working on my MBA. My game time is fuckin sporadic as is my mood. I do love this game though. It runs like a dream and looks amazing.

I’m using that crescent falchion from 4-1 which scales with magic so I’m guessing I’m going to be a fucking powerhouse as the game goes on. To be honest I’m pretty bad at these games so it’s probably for the best that I chose this build, or else I doubt I’d ever finish the game. :chuckle:

I’ll post in here as I progress though. Hoping to beat it before Elden Ring pops.

Anybody play Pokemon Go still? My daughter and I like it and still play.
I play on the rare occasions I leave my front door. Game is still reasonably active, although I don't like them cutting the range on gyms/stops

Yeah, been coming out for a while now. Some crazy stuff.

Signed up for Playstation Now a week ago, which is how I've been playing Arkham Asylum. Decided to replay Bioshock Infinite tonight. Holy shit. Game is almost ten years old but they pretty much nailed where America was going.
Just finished infinite a few weeks ago along with the burial at sea dlc. Motivated me to buy the first two just to understand the story more. Phenomenal game and atmosphere. It's definitely a right wing utopia :chuckle:

Also 100% agree on Arkham Asylum. I started that game like 8 or 9 years ago and never finished. Definitely something I wanna complete by end of 2021

My body is ready for Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut.

Guys I desperately need a new video game. Someone hit me with something good on PC.

Finally finished Mass Effect Legendary Edition last night. Took 112 hours to go through all three of them. They hold up really well. Maybe it's just because I'm a lot older than I was when I first played, but the ending of ME3 didn't even bother me this play through. Just really solid from start to finish and packs a great emotional punch. The Citadel DLC remains one of the best DLCs I've ever played. Pretty excited to see what they do with the next game.

Having the Citadel DLC be incorporated from the beginning does a lot to help to help bring some closure to your game, where as upon initial release, it was just the lame ass star child without any exposition on your teammates. I'm still upset that they refused to accept the Indoctrination theory about the ending, mainly because Bioware wasn't smart enough to come to that conclusion themselves because by the 3rd game, it was a room full of shit writers that had nothing to do with the original Mass Effect.

@Jack Brickman I bought Wildermyth but can't seem to get into it. I read the good reviews and I love Xcom, but it doesn't draw me in... maybe the graphics? it's sorta infantile.. i'm probably missing a lot.

To me, it's basically fantasy XCOM.

The graphics aren't amazing, obviously, but it's an indie game. I love the music, though. Reminds me of Crono Trigger.

Does it get much better after the start?

How much have you played? You get new party members over time and I think you can have up to five at once in a fight. A lot of new enemy types are also introduced and enemies grow in strength over the course of a campaign. There are also additional campaigns that open up with different stories, although there are still procedurally generated character moments that change your characters over time and can give them new abilities.

You can also upgrade weapons and armor at the end of each chapter of a campaign to make your characters more powerful. You do this using the resources you accumulate during the campaign by securing locations.
