The "What are you playing now?" Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I just bought it. Zero dawn. Played it for about 5 hours and just could not get into it. Going to give it one more try.
I’m still playing it. Can’t put it down. The story seemed a little straight forward and then it threw me for a little bit of a loop.

Was getting balls deep into Elden Ring with everyone else, but with a newborn I’ve fallen way behind. Hoping to get back to it along with Forbidden West and Dying Light 2. That should get me to Fall this year.

Finished platinum on Elden Ring (I admittedly save scummed so that I could get each ending, rather than three separate playthroughs, but still amassed 120+ hours). Wanted to make sure I did that before the newborn arrives.

Now it's back to GT7 and finishing all the achievements in Forbidden West.

I did the exact same thing :chuckle:

I still enjoy the multiplayer, so I'm at least going to be putting my sign down for co-op and helping friends finish the game. Probably gonna start a new character strictly for PvP, as well, and make it in line with what the meta is (I've been getting invaders even at 175, but for recent Souls games it tends to be around 120).

Hoping they do what they did with DS3 and put in a dedicated PvP arena.

I just bought this tonight, looking forward to starting it tomorrow. How are you liking it so far?
It's been decent, but the devs for this game have deservedly received a huge amount of backlash for the in-game economy's reliance on microtransactions and some other shady shit that they've done.

Essentially, cars cost a shit ton of credits, but races don't pay out all that much, and 2 million credits costs $20, meaning a car that costs 18 million credits would essentially cost you $180 in microtransactions.

Another complaint has been that certain cars are restricted use only, so you can't even race every car that you have on any track that you want.

Luckily, a lot of those complaints are supposed to be resolved with a patch (likely sometime this week), so we will see.

The actual racing, tuning, etc. are solid. The campaign is rather short, but I've been going back and trying to get gold in all the different missions, challenges, license events, etc.

Haven't really delved into multiplayer yet, but planning to hop into league racing this week to get a feel for it.

Slay the Spire is one of the free PS Plus games this month.

Having a ton of fun with it. I know others have sung its praises here in the past... add me to that group. Addicting.

It's a great casual game. And I don't mean that in a derogative manner. It's just an easy game to sit back and sink an hour or two into with a minimum of stress. And since the runs are pretty short, I never get super pissed when I get unlucky.

I've only just picked up the game today and have already sunk hours into it without even realizing. I enjoy deck building games like this.

Any other good deck builders out there? I haven't played Gwent in awhile, and I haven't played Hearthstone in years.

I've tried a few others and I don't think anything really compares to Slay the Spire. It's definitely the best deck builder out there by a pretty wide margin.

Just tried Slay the Spire, it's pretty good. Definitely a fun, easy way to kill time.

It also gets better as you unlock new cards, characters, and trinkets. And also once you start to get a good feel for what builds work best for you.

I just picked it back up. Haven't done any of the main story because I've just been exploring the world and boy was I wrong this game is fantastic.
