I got TotK. Played 2 hours last night before I ran out of battery and just reached the 2nd shrine on the tutorial island. Ultrahand is so much better than the abilities we had in BotW. The game is very enjoyable and def a good follow up on BotW so far. Kinda sad they took out whistle sprinting but what can you do.

Still does not feel like a Zelda to me. It is a game set in Hyrule, but is not a Zelda. That is totally fine, but I do hope we get another more traditional mainline Zelda game in the near future.

The game gets way better once you get off the tutorial island and into Hyrule proper. Make sure you head to the central town area first once you get to ground level so you can unlock the glider. You may get sent to the castle first, though, and then get the glider when you get back. Don't remember. Either way, the glider plus all the new abilities and the sky towers that shoot you into the air make traversal a breeze, and even more so once you increase your stamina meter.

Pretty damn excited for the Metal Gear Solid remakes/remasters/whatever the proper term is.

I think I outgrew this franchise. But I used to love them. MGS3 was always my favorite so I will definitely be trying the remake.
