The "What are you playing now?" Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Playing the remake of Devil May Cry right now. About three to four hours in and loving it. The combat is fun, the story is interesting, and the game is fucking gorgeous. The individual fights rarely last "too long," which means you constantly get the sense that you're moving forward, even though you're typically only moving forward to another fight. This sounds pointless, but I think it's important. One of the main reasons I had trouble getting into Darksiders (a game I really, really wanted to love but ended up just liking) was because it felt like every fight lasted for fucking ever, which made combat start to get obnoxious entirely too early in the game.

Only had two boss fights so far, but both were really fun. The platforming is solid as well.

All in all, highly recommended, and no, I don't give a shit that they made Dante look different.

Bought Rome:Total War on steam for $1. Played about 40 min of it before I went to work and realized I forgot to save.

By the way, for the PC gamers here, The Witcher and The Witcher 2 are both 66% off today on Steam, meaning you can buy the first game for $3.39 and the second for $6.79. Both of those are fantastic deals for great games.

Dishonored is also on sale for 33% off at 20.09, another great offer.

Finally, Kane & Lynch 2 is $4.99, and while the game didn't get the best reviews I thought it was a good game with a really unique visual style and intense gunplay.

Not a bad set of deals.

Anyone playing The Last of Us yet? Hearing great things in reviews.

I'm about 40 or so min into it and I think it's really good. It's intense when you go up against guys with machine guns and all you have is a pistol with 4 bullets.

Doing another Dark Souls run on a DEX build.

The one thing I don't like about The Last of Us is that guys don't drop items. That's not realistic, haha.

I always hate when games try to be super realistic (all things considered) but then overlook simple things like that.

This game is getting to me. Specifically one partI'm stuck at.

Went back and have played some Trials Evoluion today. No game has ever made me want to scream and throw shit more than this one

Super Metroid.... Can never get enough of this game. Might have to play some LOZ: LTTP with LTBW coming out soon

I dusted off my old copy of mvp baseball 2005. Picked up some updated mods and rosters and its pretty tight.
