The "What are you playing now?" Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
So an update on my tv situation. I've had 4 visits, two services, including one no show service to fix the issue my first technician created with downgrading my tv. Samsung kept moving the goal posts and was happy to just keep sending people to my house to not fix my tv. I filed a report with the bbb and shortly I heard back from samsung from someone that wasn't level 1 support in the Philippines. They are now going to refund me and are scheduling a pickup of my tv.

I've now gone out and purchased an LG c9. HDMI 2.1 (4k 120 hz support), the first tv to officially receive gsync compatibility support, and an oled. In the end this worked out, but man did I have to put up a fight.

I'm going to try and get some rdr 2 in this weekend.

MW battle royale leaked. Sounds fucking aweet.

Got the new CoD. I played this mini game/demo a month back of 2v2. Is that not in the game?

Pokemon sword and fire emblem have been great so far on the switch. Definitely pricey for the switch, but I recommend both

Fuck Grim Dawn. Got my sorcerer to 54, started up Elite, got to Act 1 boss and he's just a brick fucking wall no matter what I do. Don't feel like going back and farming Normal for gear, that sounds miserable. Learn how to make a fucking ARPG, you shouldn't have to farm shit just to get to the endgame. That's what the endgame is, fucking farming.

Just rage quit. Back to Path of Exile and Diablo 3 I guess.

Fire Emblem (assuming you’re talking about Three Houses) has been one of my favorite games for the Switch. It hasn’t been often that I’ve found a “can’t put down” type of game for that system.

Yeah three houses is what I meant. Literally just beat my second playthrough as the Black Eagle house after playing Blue lion to start. It's a lot of fun and more content is coming in 2020 too

I quit playing it a couple months ago but am definitely planning to pick it back up around the time the new content comes out. Really looking forward to it.

Honestly I think it’s the best in the series.

Got Spiderman for Ps4. I don't play many single player games, but man I'm really enjoying this actually. Haven't even got very far in the story. But the mechanics are so smooth. It reminds me of Horizon Zero Dawn in that way. I find it a joy just swinging and parkouring around the city tbh. And of course the fighting is so smooth and fun. It's just visually appealing.

I've always been a Batman fan since earliest childhood. And although the Arkham series is very good, I just find the mechanics of Spiderman much more fun to play with. The style of the games are similar, but who Spiderman is as a character allows for that style. The fighting and movement is more intuitive. I just started the game, but so far it is so well executed.

Before I bought this game, I've been watching the old Spiderman animated series' on Disney plus as well. I've never been that much into it, but that is why I was curious. Pretty entertaining actually and didn't realize his sarcastic humor has always been a part of his character.

Surprisingly dead in here. Any of you get some new games for Christmas?

Just started playing Bioshock Infinite and it's a work of art.
