The "What are you playing now?" Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Just finished Fire Emblem 3 Houses. Loved the game, but some of the battles would've been brutal on non-casual.

Black Eagle house, chose to side with edelgard, both on the battlefield and off. Recruited Manuela, Alois, Hanneman, Annette, lysithia, mercedes, and shamir. "freed" claude.

Looking forward to secondd playthrough and/or dlc content

Easily one of my favorite games on the Switch. Tons of replayability. I think it'll take four playthroughs to unlock everything.

DLC's already released, but I haven't played it much yet.

Damn sucks about RE3. I'll prolly pass.

Just wait until Christmas when it inevitably goes on sale for under twenty bucks. That's what I do with most games. There are very few I feel compelled to play on day one any more.

That's honestly what I do usually as well. That's how I got RE2... think it was $19 on the PS Store.

Speaking of 2, I gotta crank that one out. Sat down and put a few hours in, was really feeling it, just never got back to it for some reason.

Just finished RE3. I agree with what everyone here is saying. Too short, too basic. Enjoyable, but not for $60. I'd probably give it a 7/10. Gonna jump back on Warzone for awhile before doing another playthrough.

I just played that game for the first time a couple of years ago, just for the hell of it. It was fun as hell even if the engine and graphics were dated. It's even more fun going through the second time with things like a Chicago Typewriter and unlimited ammo.
So, I actually had never played a Resident Evil game until RE2 last year. I loved that game (at least a 9/10 for me), so I went back and played through the old ones starting with RE4 (I can't handle fixed cameras, and the games before RE4 all had fixed cameras).

The graphics and controls on RE4 are clunky as hell, but the story is awesome and the gameplay was revolutionary. I sure hope they remaster that one; RE4 at its time was one of the best games out there and there's really no reason why it couldn't be again. Being able to continue Leon's story after the RE2 remake would be a blast.

My opinions on the rest of the series I've played: RE5 was meh, RE6 was trash, RE7 was great.

Recently been playing

MLB the Show 2020
Apex Legends
Risk of Rain 2
Dungeon Defenders: Awakend
Duck Game
FF7 Remake Demo
Command and Conquer RED ALERT
Board games with my brother

Got Persona 5 Royal. Likely would have passed if not for the quarantine but since I am locked up may as well play an updated version of one of my favorite games. Also every other game getting delayed so something new to play even if its mostly something old.

Went back into outerworlds after a sabbatical from it. need to get better at finishing games

should I buy Nintendo Switch?
I dunno, for some reason.. I can only manage to play video games at night on PC. Doesn't really get immersive for me. Even PC gaming in general. Maybe I need a new monitor(only got a shitty 24 inch monitor), or a more comfortable setup as using the mouse is pretty painful for my hands. Can never seem to feel comfortable.

Thought about maybe semi transitioning into consoles. Nintendo Switch kinda looks appealing, but I wonder if I should wait for next gen, and also, I have no experience with Nintendo games as I was always a PS guy.

Honestly depends on what type of games you primarily play. I like the Switch, I hate every aspect of it though. The joycons are junk. Doesn't matter what "pro controller" it's junk in a month. Battery life is horrendous and I really and truly hate the Nintendo UI.

But if you love RPGs or ports of 10 year old games, the Switch is the system for you lol.

I dunno actually lol.
It seems like i'm forcing myself to play games as I get older. Or wait till I actually feel some urge to play. My preference changes on the daily.
It's hard for me to hold onto a phone for even a few minutes, so i'm not really sure I can deal with the switch device. Is it more comfortable?
I was browsing the games, and they do seem a bit childish, but I do look for games that are quite different to PC games. I think the main selling point for me is playing on the TV and I think one of the most important thing is how comfortable the joysticks are. M&K is just not very comfortable for me.

I like RPGs. Or at least I used to lol.

Have you tried just plugging a controller into your pc? All it takes is a micro usb to usb cable.

I did try. My usb cable mustb e fucked up and my motherboard doesn't support Bluetooth, so I need to find a BT dongle.
