The "What are you playing now?" Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I love how we've come full circle from remakes and reboots to them just charging us another sixty bucks for the same game. :chuckle:

Hey idc. If someone just made a new Quake 2 with updated graphics and physics I'd pay 60 bucks.

Noticed that the Skullpiercer mod came back for the Wingman and Longbow, but the Anvil for the flatline and r-301 was gone. Flatline feels like it did with the anvil and seems to drop people a lot quicker now. I never play with Mirage, what changes did he get? Honestly, I hate the new loot screen, but I can see how it makes it slightly easier.
They buffed him good

Passive: Automatically go invisible when picking up downed teammates
Q: Bamboozles are now controllable using H key (actually making the decoys believable)
ULT: SO MANY BAMBOOZLES!!

Loba has been fun to play. Her Q is essentially a grenade that you throw, then teleport to where it lands. Makes for an exciting get-away when your low on health.

More DLC coming out for Total War: Warhammer 2 in a few days. My favorite character is coming, Grom the Paunch. That game is insanely well made for as much content as is in it. Gonna start playing competitive battles with the new DLC, even though I suck at RTS games.

Just went on a mini game buying spree out of sheer boredom.

Halo Wars
Halo Wars 2
Halo: Spartan Assault
Gears 5

Paid $60 total for all of those games.

I just do campaigns. In middle of a TK and VC one (Settra and Noctilus respectively) and am having a blast. I already bought the new DLC. Excited to play some Greenskins. Get stuck in wit da boyz!

Finished Witcher 3, now messing around with the DLC.

I like Yennifer, but I think im team Triss

Made the mistake of beating level 50 on mgs5 and now I have nothing to do.

Is online play worth it? Any fun?

Beat Ori today. Damn, that ending got me in the feels. I really want to see this franchise continue. Both games are phenomenal.

Back to RE2 now, which I’m already a few hours into.

On PC still jamming Warhammer 2, and started up Elder Scroll’s Online for a nice adventure to tickle the RPG itch.

Think I'm gonna get splinter cell.

Anyone like or hate it? Is it cool if I start with blacklist

blacklist and conviction open up the series from the harsher gameplay of the older stealthier versions of the game. depending on who you talk with that is a good or bad thing for the series. I like the newer games, but wasn't fond of the original.

hope that helps

The originals are basically straight up stealth games where more often than not getting caught meant dying. The newer games are more forgiving and action oriented, and your character can get around quicker and the environments are designed to allow quick getaways after being spotted.

I enjoyed both types quite a lot. I lean more towards the pure stealth of the old games but both are good.

Is there something that closely resembles Rome: Total War? I’ve been getting an itch it play it, but obviously that game is way old now. I see they made a new one in 2019. Only thing is I just have Xbox. I guess I could always get a gaming pc.

Edit- noticed Rome II had an expansion just 2 years ago.
