The "What are you playing now?" Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I do game on PC, and it used to be my primary. 60” 4K TVs and recliners just eventually made consoles my primary source of gaming over the past generation. I’d buy Halo on console way before I’d buy it on PC. Not having to worry about fucking around with settings and FPS is nice too.

Still game a lot on PC though. Mostly stuff like strategy games and MMOs that suck on console or aren’t there at all. Havent really seen any PS exclusives coming to PC besides Horizon, 3 years after it came out on console... some rumors about Bloodborne which is 5 years old... I dunno. Rather just play it on PS5.

I don't think it's in Sony's best interests to have their exclusives release at the same time on both their console and PC, so I imagine that we'll continue to see them release a couple of years later once they're already bargain titles on the console. It's just free revenue for them. They get to re-release the game at full price to a new audience and it's pretty much guaranteed to sell. Plus, a lot of people will buy the game again to take advantage of any graphical upgrades and new features that are on the PC release.

Honestly surprised they didn't think of it sooner.

Yeah, definitely the right move.

Might also convince people to buy a Playstation console so that they can play these games right at release.

Honestly, the only reason I have a PS4 right now is because Sony's exclusives are amazing and abundant and Microsoft's are mediocre and scarce. I'm loving Ghost of Tsushima right now. It's basically a Japanese Witcher.

I had the same thought when I watched some gameplay.

Speaking of Witcher, just finished the main story. Man, what a game.

Diving into the first DLC now, Hearts of Stone.

Both of the DLC are awesome. Hearts of Stone is mostly just a great story, whereas with Blood & Wine you get a full new map to go along with the story and it wraps things up really nicely.

Bought Ghost, havent started yet. Looking forward to it!

Wonder if CDPR goes to another Witcher game after Cyberpunk.

Finished all of the witchers like 2 years ago. Definitely my favorite game ever. Playing total war warhammer 2 for the first time. But considering going back to witcher since it's been a while.

There’s rumors of another Witcher game, albeit with a new protagonist. I’d imagine that full on development would start once Cyberpunk 2077 hits shelves.

New party game called Fall Guys that looks hilarious and addictive. Been looking for one of those for a while that piqued my interest.

Trying to play Civ, but that evolution game looks really really fun too, and I’d like to try, and figure that out.

edit: I know some of us played Destiny together, but you can add me on PS. BestOfAllTime32. Just like the diesel.

Just got the platinum trophy for Ghosts of Tsushima. Great game, just wish I could see how many hours it took to complete.

Traversing a much simpler and wholesome time with story of seasons: friends of mineral town. Farming, friends, and family. Nice slow paced non combative/ competitive game of my younger years.
