The "What are you playing now?" Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Not sure if I've posted this in here before, but Rimworld is a lot of fun. It's on steam and has a ton of mods if that's your thing. It's basically a sci-fi colony simulator that's has an AI story teller behind everything that happens.

Ok, FINALLY abotu to play my first BR game. Spellbreak. No guns. Instead, everyone is a magical, flying, wizard.

So how is it? Ive been playing fortnite with my brother in law and nephew and Divinity Original sin 2.

Worst kept secret in gaming, but the real question is- is this simply a higher-res version of the games, or are they reworking and modernizing some aspects otherwise? If it's the latter I'm there, day one. If it's the former...I'll pass.

One of my favorite game series ever (especially ME2), but I've played through them probably close to ten times each, and ME1 just isn't aging that well and has gotten more painful each time. Imagine if they gave it the combat of 2/3 though. Ho lee fuk.

There's no way they can possibly keep the combat from ME1... There has to be major changes to that game IMO for this to be a success.

The mako is fucking BRUTAL as is the combat.

Yeah, going from 1 to 2 was like a revelation. Night and day. It's why I loved the story of 1 but my true love of that series really began with 2.

Agree they definitely need to upgrade one and two with the combat from three. Make it all feel like one consistent experience. That won't require much work for two, but it'd be a huge overhaul of one.

ME1 combat is atrocious compared to more modern games. Probably in the minority but id take combat from andromeda as well as vehicle control as well. Andromeda was a mess, but not the unplayable game it was originally made out to be by the internet.

Andromeda’s combat was one of the few things they got right. It felt good.

But damn that game was a disappointment. Wonder if Bioware ever returns to form.

Actually doing another play through... still don't hate it. no me2 or me3, but had potential for a second one and would be okay if they did come back to it.

Dragon Age will probably make or break them. Frostbite engine gave them troubles but inquisition wasn't as bad as mea or anthem. Reusing assets and better awareness to problems should help this go around, but they could pull the same 5 yr in development with scrambling to finish in 18 months bc they have no clear direction

Not sure I hate it,but just could not get invested.

Anyone manage to snag a PS5 preorder yesterday?

What an absolute mess that turned out to be. Sony gave Microsoft some free good publicity with how badly that was bungled.
