The "What are you playing now?" Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Finally started Spiderman, this game is awesome. Incredible graphics, gameplay, story, etc. Its got everything. Loving it so far.

Anyone try Outriders yet? Myself and a couple friends are considering getting it and playing co-op together. I played the demo a bit and watched some gameplay - seems pretty fun.

Minecraft. Very cathartic after a 12 he shift, lol. I play creative and am building a city, but as I learn more from the kid I might venture into survival. Surprising amount of depth on the survival side.

outriders is great. Cross platform is down right now so dunno what you’d play it on but, I’ll team up at endgame if you get it.

Shit, thanks for the heads up. My friends and I are all on different platforms :chuckle:

We only have the demo for now

Yeah theres some nasty bugs right now that PCF are addressing. But the game itself? Super fun. Hope they end up committing to it with updates and expansions.

Not sure when crossplay will be back up. I’m on Series X.

Just finished dragon age inquisition. Kind of rushed through the Trespasser DLC as I thought I was ready for it to be over after 80 hours, but it was worth it to do Trespasser just for the story. I know this game took a lot of shit compared to the Witcher 3 which is one of its contemporaries and a superior game, but honestly I’m super glad I went back and played it and I think it might be one of my favorite RPGs.

Legit feel kind of sad now that it actually is over.

About 50 hours into AC Valhalla on PS5 and only about half ways through the story and it’s getting dull/repetitive. Any suggestions on another game I should pick up to whet my appetite?

What kind of shit you looking for? In kind of a dry period right now, and there are a few options coming in the next couple months but I think 2021 is going to be backloaded pretty heavily and some big titles will even slip to 2022.

Preferably not open world, but more story driven. Something that keeps me going without the need to loot for hours and shit. Miles Morales was the perfect length of a game, Cold War too, just a bit bored and dry right now.

Well, I’m sure you’ve played ME already but the Legendary Remaster comes out next month. Resident Evil as well if you’re into that. As far as shit that’s already out I assume you’ve played the usual suspects ala Witcher 3, The Last of Us, Bloodborne, and Ghost of Tsushima....

Cyberpunk?!?! Jk.

Some of those are open world anyways. If story driven and linear is what you want, that’s tough. If you like Metroidvania, Ori and/or Hollow Knight are fantastic and pretty linear-ish...or at least won’t consume your soul.

I have played ME but the remaster is intriguing. I have not yet played Ghost of Tsushima but it seemed pretty long based on things I read, but I may pick it up if it's more linear. Cyberpunk I'm staying away from but I have heard the PS5 version isn't as much as a disaster as others.

I hear good things about Disco Elysium too, but yet to pull the trigger.

havent played Disco Elysium but it is supposed to be great. Ghost of Tsushima isn’t really linear, it is open world, but you can mainline the main story (which is pretty good and the combat is insanely satisfying) in probably 20 hours or so. There isn’t a big loot grind or anything.
