The "What are you playing now?" Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Finally upgrading to an Xbox Series X for the release of Halo. Used All Access to snag one, so will bet set for games/gold for the next 2 years as well...

Sucks that I couldn't get just the system at retail price, but better than trying to buy 3rd party for 1k+ I've seen some of them going for.

All Access is actually a good deal, if you intended on subbing GamePass anyways.

It saves you like 20 some bucks versus buying the separately, but you can usually find deals on gamepass and gold for less. I just didn't want to wait and deal with the hassle. Especially with Halo right around the corner and me having some extra money that I can pay it down a bit quicker.

The Game Pass deals don’t work multiple times, to my knowledge (GPU 3 months for $1 etc). I tried that, lol. If you want it long term, gotta pay the $15/mo. Which is a damn good deal regardless for what you get.

Halo is gonna be hella good. The multi, anyways.

Worked twice for me ;)

I remember hearing there was a loophole on how to get it to go a second time, a while back. This was before I even got Game Pass though and I thought they closed it. Don’t recall details. When I bought my XSX I tried to use that deal again and was swiftly rebuffed, haha.

Diablo 2 remastered drops in a week.

That will be a game I binge for quite some time.

Battlefield 2042 delayed a couple weeks. Rumors are the game needs serious de-bugging.

I'd love for it to kick ass. Everything I've seen just...has me with very, very little faith.

My multiplayer time will probably go towards Halo and maybe Back4Blood this Fall.

I thought the Back4Blood was dogshit awful.

Wasn't it supposed to be a spiritual successor to the L4D franchise?

I was really looking forward to that game

It is. By the same people. If you like L4D, hard to imagine not liking it. If you didn’t, well….

Yea it's just not close.

The way the multiplayer worked in l4d was far more enjoyable. Playing through the actual levels instead of just these tiny maps with the poison gas BR thing.

But beyond that I found the actual multiplayer in beta completely unplayable. People would lose a round and leave and then no one would replace them. Almost every game was an uneven, and I'm not exaggerating. Just couldn't play it at all.
