The "What are you playing now?" Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Got tired of the grind generally not bearing fruit, so am also taking a break for the time being. I still plan to get back into it; actually really close to having a full set of keys for an uber run.
Oh damn! Nice.

Yup, just gotta do some runs in the Halls of Pain to get a couple more Keys of Destruction. Then comes the fun part of actually doing the run with a Smiter...

They're gonna have to, quickly, figure out some anti-cheat stuff.

It's sad how quickly fucking losers can ruin a game but they're starting to.

It's terrible.

I haven't dealt with any cheaters in Halo yet. Are ya'll playing at crazy high ranks?

No.

But I've had 3 cheaters that I've seen so far.

All of them, I'm pretty sure, we're simply cheating with a partner or two to help them climb the ranks fast. That seems to be what most of them are doing. Boosting friends.

Ah. Is there not any sort of rank requirement to que together in solo/duo?

If that player is absolute trash, however, you can win the game off of it since it's only 4v4. I find in most of my games, one player being much worse than everyone is more impactful than someone being much better.

I *think* I've come across maybe one or two cheaters in Halo, but nothing crazy. Certainly nothing even close to the disaster that Warzone has become, for example.

Oh hell yeah this looks awesome. I had a Matrix game on the PS2 back in the day that was a blast.

It’s been discussed in here quite a bit. Fun game, I thought it was a bit overrated but definitely still good.

Not sure I'd call it overrated, as it's probably the best game in its entire genre. Certainly the best story. Hell, one of the only games in the genre that even has one. I love Darkest Dungeon, and it has great writing, but the story sucks. And Slay the Spire doesn't really even have one. Nor does Spelunky.

Those are the only three games I can think of that I'd put on a level with Hades in that genre, though. Would you agree?

That’s all subjective. I liked it, but didn’t adore it the way so many seem to, so in my opinion… overrated. That’s not a term I’d use if I wasn’t keenly aware I’m in the minority. :chuckle: But, you can acknowledge its quality and even say that you liked it (which I did) without it resonating with the way it did for the majority who rave over it.

Was a fun game, though, for sure.
