The guy can play, and is honestly a willing passer in/out of the post. Has pretty impressive vision and touch. Also love that he uses a series of fakes and pivots to create space for himself down there and reduce odds of getting blocked.

Just do not understand the aversion to zizic by the organization. Should he get 30 plus mins a game ? No. But he creates mismatches with a lot of teams that dont have a true center

I don’t understand the aversion to using the bench period. It would pay off for the whole team to develop players and not destroy the starters. Zizic, Wade, and Knight ought to be in a rotation.

I think after this media thugs thing Beilein was desperate for a couple of wins. This Denver win helps his case a lot for how the young guys played.

If he can keep either of these LA games competitive that will be great. A lot of people were talking about the Denver loss, so it was pretty high profile. If they can play these 2 games pretty well, that will be a good look for Beilein. This is the highest profile trip of the year probably.

I agree though the bench was playing well. The starters played almost the whole 2nd half against Denver. TT played over 40 min against the pistons.

They reported today he might've been suffering after-effects of the slug he got from that thug Plumlee. (the accidental celebration on Ante's head) - Stated he had symptoms of vertigo. Kid can't seem to catch a lot of breaks.

Pour one out for Zizic. He never got his chance, and this year has been a series of unfortunate events ending with us picking up Drummond AND keeping TT.

We hardly knew ye. I think you could have been a good backup for us with your screening and scoring.

Pour one out for Lemony Zizic. There not much room for centers in the NBA, and the Cavs seem to be collecting them like Billy Beane scouted guys with a good on base percentage.

Is there any updates with his condition? Hope the next coach would be more inclined with a more traditional lineup rather small ball... Zizic may be an ok and cheap backup to Andre if he ever gets healthy enough to play consistently.... TT most probably gone next season, Drummond/KLove/Nance and Zizic (if kept) would be a nice frontcourt urt, i.e. Cavs not undersized at least at the pf/center positions...

Some claimed there is no room for traditional big men in today's game, yet Zubac, Kanter, and Jokic are all able to efficiently contribute once given adequate minutes.

Also Ante is one of the few NBA players you will see who turns and finds a man to box out on defense with some regularity.

Setting big screens to free up teammates will always be useful.

Mmm...but what if we just need to get a liiiiitle bit smaller, and then small-ball will really start paying off for us and we'll leap into contention??
