Better option than Kirk, and he wasn't the worst thing in the world for the Thunder these last few years.

Could be had for the minimum, esp considering the minimum is basically what he's been making.

If nothing else, he'll probably get a camp invite unless another team is willing to guarantee him some money.

big body, contests shots, nba experience, cheap, not greg oden or bynum... why not?

i know he isn't good but i mean he fits the above criteria

unless someone crawls out of the woodwork now that we officially have Love on board

If we signed Thabeet and Andy went down at some point, our potential starting lineup would consist of a #1, #1, #2, #4, and #5 pick. As irrelevant as that is, Thabeet would fit in great as a defensive presence and played well the last couple years in OKC.

Thabeet might be the worst basketball player in the NBA.

If he were 6'3 he'd be a mid round pick in the local YMCA pick up games but since he's 7'3 he makes millions of dollars in the NBA.

Good thing we only need a tall presence in the post who can jump and smack down a basketball. It's not like we need him to play 40 minutes a night. His signing would not hurt a thing. I say sign him up if possible.

Thabeet doesn't fit the mold of smart players that Griff has been pining for

Thabeet has played a total of five minutes this preseason; his team was outscored by 8 points in those five minutes.
