Thoughts on trading Jose Ramirez

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Talk about Greed ... until Amed shows he is back to top rated type player, Marcano is realistic, but 8th best prospect in mlb is over-the-top. We couldn't get him or other top-5, for either Clevinger or Trammel/Bauer. Yet, I would revise my take on Gimenez, Abrams (for amed), green, wolf trade haul if Chris pulled it off.
...interesting turn of phrase...

..while I won't go so far as to confirm or deny what the Indians can or can't get as in the 8th best shoe tying clubbie to 8th best minor league prospect, inclusive.. the idea of "over the top" is exactly where the Padres want to go.. as in over the top rated Dodgers for a World Series win.. something that would require a very solid team.. one that may only be temporarily damaged by the loss of Tatis Jr.. but if his injury is more serious.. then perhaps a change in who they're going to keep would be apropos..

We'll see...

This is the first I've read about the shoulder injury to Tatis Jr., and Wow. Best player in baseball, likely the most valuable commodity period. This just adds another dose of tedium to an already dreary season. I'm going to need some pleasant surprises soon, or else!

You are welcome.

Is it policy that the owner also mans the hole? I met @Lee In the hole

I always bring a guest into the hole with me every night. You should remember, you were drunk, but not drink enough to forget your time "manning" the hole.

Well.. you referred to it as a "tit for tat"

And for the record, you got the nickname Frankie that night. You were able to get balls deep in the hole that no one else was able to get.

Ironically at the time we didnt know the most offensive thing about the above sentence to Lindor was being called Frankie.

Idk what was so impressive about it to offend Lindor... it was just a hole from a nail.. all I needed was a ladder.

Um, how 'bout them Indians?
I've never seen them at @Lee 's Glory Hole :chuckle:

(Sorry, couldn't resist)

On-topic, I'm with @AZ_ . Everyone has a price. If a team really wanted to offer us the moon for Jose, then I'd trade him, but I'm not actively shopping him. You're likely never going to get an MVP-candidate post-arbitration at this price point ever again. I don't mind winning baseball games and letting the chips fall where they may.
