Here's one I found on the Bucks board from a Bucks fan. They didn't seem to hate the idea too much.

Milwaukee trades:

Mo Williams, PG, 25 years old - 5 years, 43.5M remaining (5th year is 8.5M player option)
Charlie Villanueva, PF, 23 years old - 1 year 3.4M remaining (RFA qualifying offer would be 4.6M)
Dan Gadzuric, C, 30 years old - 3 years, 20.1M remaining

Cleveland trades:

Anderson Varejao, PF/C, 25 years old - 2 years, 11.9M remaining (2nd year is 6.2M player option)
Joe Smith, PF, 32 years old -- 1 year, 4.7M
Damon Jones, PG, 31 years old -- 1 year, 4.4M

Wouldn't be able to go through until Varejao's byc status expired in a couple weeks.

Cavs get a lot younger and better offensively, but take on a lot more salary and become worse defensively.

Thoughts?

just say no to mo, he would be a terrible option in my opion. If we cant get Redd I do not want anything on the bucks roster...well RJ, but they arent trading him. Mo is stephon marbury type pg who does nothing to promote any offense other than his own.

I would pass, Mo's defense is suspect and i hate the idea of trading away Joe Smith and Anderson Varejao and get back a big that plays weak defense.

i like it.
villanueva is a stud.
he's one of those guys that will be traded a gazillion times in his
career, but is a really effective b-ball player.
i think he's better than andy or joe and would flourish if given playing
time.

mo williams is a tad better than delonte. he has better court vision and
is more skilled offensively, but delonte is a better defensively.

the thing most of these "great" defensive teams in the league isn't constructed with great man-to-man defenders. it's all about learning the
system. i'm telling u, wally is known as an atrocious defender, but would look decent when he fully learns how to play within the system.

i wouldn't be concerned w/ the defensive mentality of these players at all.

For this to work we'd have to give up Gibson or West. Chances of having a Gibson/West/Williams rotation is slim. Milwuakee wants to win now that means they want solid starters at all positions just like us. I'm telling you we should be pressing for a JR Smith, unless we really want to take a chance on Iverson. People don't seem to like the idea of getting Carter, but I doubt it will happen anyways. For Iverson we'd need to hook up a 3 way deal with Denver that includes a rebuilding team.

I don't want Mo Williams, I like Delonte and Boobie....get Baron Davis or Elton Brand now, get Redd at the trade deadline, or get no other superstar and live with what we have...We were only a few points away from being in the Eastern Conference finals this year, our team is not as bad as we say..we'll be back next year

Mo Williams/Delonte West
???????????/Daniel Gibson
LeBron/??????????????????
Charlie Villanueva/JJ Hickson
Z/Ben Wallace

Idk.. I don't see how this really makes us a better team.

The only way I'd do this if for some reason Golden State wanted Mo Williams, we could trade for him and then ship him out for Baron Davis.. But I doubt they care for him.

no way bucks do that. But if they say yes, then common since you do it.

The Bucks are looking to get rid of Charlie Villanueva as soon as possible, according to The New York Daily News.

Most people don't expect Villanueva to last very long with with Scott Skiles running the show in Milwaukee.

I think he would be a great fit on the cavs team. He is athletic and can play the 3-4-or 5. Kid is wierd yes, but he can ball hard. I would do a deal for him in a heartbeat.

A young 'Donny Hot Cakes'--- Hmmmm.. :coolugh:

Charlie V plays the game like a plastic bag blowing in the wind out in Shelby Ohio...He's all over the place... Some games he's solid, and some games he's putrid... Gooden sees alot of himself in Charlie, which is always a ringing endorsement..

If I remember correctly, Charlie V. competed against LeBron and others in the high school dunk contest in 2002. Obviously LeBron won, I can't remember how Charlie did, but I know he competed. Maybe he and LeBron are friends because of it.
