I’ve literally went on a impact driver spree...
Tried the following:
Milwaukee Fuel Gen 3
Milwaukee Brushless
Ridgid Octane
Makita xdt
Ryobi Brushless
DeWalt Max XR
The Milwaukee and the Ridgid was the most powerful....Had no idea Ridgid was an Ohio company btw
The DeWalt started smoking
The Makita was smooth and and quick but not as powerful
The Ryobi was the most surprising.... Apparently this is the cheapest of them all but they also have more tools and gadgets than all of these tools combined that you can use with their 18+1 system....
The gentleman I tested these with said Ryobi gets made fun of cause of their Volt Yellow/Green color but for non contractor grade tools— DIY’ers its the best bang for your buck....
In addition this company back in the day used to be Blue & Yellow and all those old tools, which he said was better made than today’s can still use the brand new batteries....
I’m on the fence but I’m considering going Ryobi because there’s hundreds of things to select from....
