As there seem to be multiple threads going regarding trades, the potential of Clev moving, etc. maybe we can centralize?!?

It is being reported that Clevinger is all but out the door today -- I am surprised by this, as I did not believe that teams would offer up a sufficient return inside this wacky season...on top of that there is little to no Minor League scouting/playing of competitive games. All these factors had me thinking we'd move Clev in the winter...oh well. If it all goes down, I hope we come away with a huge haul!

The seven player trade between the Mariners and Padres does not make much sense to me from the Friar side, but I guess I will have to look deeper into those names. It does put San Diego in position to move a catcher.

I personally say my only wish is an MLB bat that plays in the OF, plus 3 prospects one of the being a good catching prospect.

Nightengale indicating that the Braves may now be out...or at least will not raise their current offer. Padres still make the most sense to me...Yanks Pale Hose, and Jays really do not.

Padres are really moving a great many bodies -- fascinating approach. I am wondering if there is still another deal coming for Tribe, as there is not a clear outfield addition from SD.
