Do Not Sell My Personal Information
If we could get Millwood for 30 mil. for three years, i'd hope Dolan would open up his wallet and make it happen. I think he's def. worth that much, and if we're really gonna contend, he's gonna have to pay someone that kinda cash. Millwood has been the best starter we've had this year, even though his record doesn't show it. Just look at the last month. Milly has gone something like 1-4, with an era under 3.30, while Lee was gone something like 4-1, with an era over 5.00. Millwood just doesn't get the run support. They should be negotiating with him right now, so they can get a feel for what he wants, and what they should do before the trade deadline.

I've never been high on Davis. He's more of a thrower than a pitcher. He showed signs of being great before, but then he gives up the big inning. Over and over again. I don't think he'll ever be a consistent starter. I was hoping they'd package him with gerut and brando and get a decent player in return. i wouldn't mind seeing him traded. Like you said, we have the pitching to dump.

I don't know that he is worth that much, because of his injury history. He'd be 34 at the end of that contract and has already had numerous injury problems in his career. It'd be too big of a risk for my liking, whereas spending $10 mil/yr. on Soriano wouldn't be nearly the same amount of risk.

millwood and belliard for soriano might work ....i bet thats what they go for in the end
