Tristan Thompson

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I saw the video of TT/Kanye there was no altercation...just two men talking. Click bait.

Every time I see this thread updated my eyes light up because I'm hopeful it's news he's been traded. Then I come in here and see something he's done that's so stupid and realize it's never going to happen.

Not as sexy as talking about the potential future of the young guys, but in terms of all around, every facet of the game, tonight might have been TT’s best and most complete overall game as a pro.
Not sure about as a Pro... TT had some superb games in the playoffs. But this certainly was the best game for any Cav over the past two years without LeBron.

I cant count more than 5 games that were better than this one.

From what I saw, it looks promising. Almost like he's reawakened. Sample-size notwithstanding... As one of the few vets who's played well in high-stake games (including the championship), he's someone we can count on to bring it. Reminds me of Anderson Varejao. Someone who will play hard no matter what with infective energy. But hopefully will stay healthy AND motivated. Like averaging a double-double over 70+ games instead of 40 or less...

I finally had to change my "Tristan Thompson is awful" sig, guy has been good for a couple seasons now and is a good leader of this team.

If Love and Tristan are both healthy for 70+ games, this team will be much better than most expect. I look forward to the game against Milwaukee for a legit early season assessment, but they are playing D and working hard. Tristan is a huge part of the leadership on that front. And I think we now have a coach that the vets and the young guys will fight for. Early, but the attitude toward Beilein is very different from the past. I think he is fostering a positive environment that allows the players to not feel the game is such a grind. In the past it seemed there was little joy, but that looks different now.

Take a bow big fella. Playing as well as you ever have and being a rock of consistency so far as a leader for the young guys.

It's crazy how the conversation is moving from "he won't bring any value back in a trade even as an expiring" to "damn, we might get a 1st round pick for him" to "hold up, are we sure we shouldn't try to re-sign to a 2-3 year deal"

That being said, dudes not old. And clearly not over the hill physically. Whether or not he(and RP) want him out of Cleveland and on to a contender next year(or sooner), they sure as hell are going to want to get him a fat as Khloe's behind contract this summer with the FA market lacking massively.
