If Chicago goes Rose, we should look into getting Hinrich. That's just a no-brainer. But if they go w/ Beasley, Ty Thomas would fit here really well. He boards, plays D, plays with energy, and is a FREAK athlete that could work wonders off pick-and-rolls. He's been inconsistent so far in his career, but playing with a creator like LeBron instead of that "so, who's taking this jumper?" offense in Chicago will do wonders-I think of a Ty Chandler type situation when he escaped from Chicago and hooked up with CP3, and Thomas has way more offensive potential than Chandler.

Isn't that the same thing as here? But here its called the, "LeBron vs. 5, just stand around and watch" offense

Chicago is really high on Thomas, and I'm pretty sure they'll keep him even if they take Beasley. They dont want Chandler part 2 to happen.

Yea because teams are always willing to help conference rivals get over the hump.

Back to the drawing board.

I am not sure that Thomas would have much success in our half court offense, I believe he would be better off playing for a run and gun team, like golden state.

Btw, I am loving the sig Chich.

I'd love to see an athletic big man paired with James... someone who could just "go up and get it" following pick and rolls. Just give the defense a little extra pause when converging on LeBron...

Thomas would be a nice addition to this team, but I don't think he's THE piece that will put them over the top.

Wouldn't be dissapointed in acquiring him if none of the other big man possibilities pan out.

The problem with Ty Thomas is that he needs to be on a team that runs a lot and is in the open-court a lot... We're a half-court team and Ty Thomas is not a good half-court player...

As much as I love the guy and what he does, he's not a fit here and we certainly don't have the pieces to acquire him...
