How about this deal:
Cleveland sends Delonte West to Miami in a sign and trade (about $6 million /year) for Udonis Haslem.
The Cavs get an improved replacement for Joe Smith (and Mo Williams is an improved replacement for Delonte West, so this is an upgrade at both positions), also Haslem's contract comes off the books during the key 2010 offseason. We also gain flexibility to trade Varejao at some point in the season.
The Heat have a logjam at PF currently with Beasley, Marion and Haslem all starting caliber players at that position. They get the combo guard they need, to take the ball out of Dewayne Wade's hands occasionally. They also get another young guy on a long term deal for a team that should be put together for the long haul, while Haslem probably only has 2 good years left in him (short PF)
West would need to be signed to a deal of at least $4.86 million in the first year to make the numbers work, but will probably be asking for a bit more anyway, so this would work out well.
