So tell me then what exactly has he accomplished with North Korea then if all my post is Orange man=bad. He's been touting his relationship with North Korea basically every time that he is in the region and while I appreciate the fact that they were able to recover some solider's remains from the area that's stopped after the last summit that they had and I have no faith that it'll be restarted.
To be fair, no POTUS since Reagan has accomplished anything with North Korea... I am no Trump fan, but I would rather him try and create peace than do nothing.

And I realize that North Korea has basically been a dead zone for the US Presidents since as you mentioned Reagan, it just seems like though there's been what 2 summit and 1 meeting where the president crossed the NK border what exactly has the US accomplished? Because in my mind at least NK get a lot of what they want by just having these summits and touting their legitimacy from them.

Basically what I am saying is that for the his perceived historical nature of the accomplishment that Trump likes to tout with NK, it essentially no different then when he entered office especially if the nuclear/missile testing is resumed.

I agree... Trump definitely overstates his case. I just think it is probably a good thing that Trump clearly wants to avoid war with North Korea. I just wish he clearly held that same view regarding Iran and Latin American countries.

I think this might be the weirdest part of the whole thing is the way that he treats the two international adversary that have similar agendas of becoming nuclear to force their way on to the world stage and yet they are treated as two completely different situations for some reason.

Kinda laid out in this article...

But it almost like there isn't a realization that doing something in one part of a world could be taken as a signal in another part, it just doesn't seem like a coherent strategy that we have.

I actually do a bit of research on signaling... My guess is that we need not worry about signals as much as we do. North Korea and Iran are probably equally scared of the US, and would be regardless of the POTUS, unless one literally let them get nukes.

It was reported that he got too bored to invade Venezuela, and I sure as fuck hope he doesn't get motivated enough to invade Iran.

He does everything to continue to receive lavish praise from his base.

And that means doing Israel’s bidding. If Israel was threatened by the NORKs, his tune would be different:

Israel has since banned both from entering the country.

Whether or not you agree with Trump, it is downright shameful for the elected leader of the world’s most powerful office to shame members of his own Congress on an international stage. If anyone sees this as a show of strength on Trump’s part, I truly question their ability to differentiate between strength and weakness. A nation divided is weaker than a nation united.

Oil is not worth fighting for anymore.

This stupid.
It's not oil we are interested in, it's freedom of shipping.. This goes back to our first military action abroad as a country, and the first cause of having a global navy..

Personally, I am not interested in boots on the ground, but would be just fine if we chose to sink every Iranian boat..

Outside of making Trump look worse (does a scale even exist at this point?), this is furthering the reveal of what Israel actually is: an apartheid state that is afraid of its reality being more widely exposed. It's made even worse because Rep. Tlaib has Palestinian roots and can't visit her West Bank family. We are quite literally giving this "democracy" billions of dollars, and two sitting congresswomen are barred from entering. Disgusting.
