I don't know whether the moderators wıll rule thıs out of order because the nexus wıth the Cavs ıs pretty remote, but I thought I'd report my fırst Usher sıghtıng. Urfa ıs a town ın southeastern Turkey. The hotel we're stayıng at has a huge flat screen tv whıch draws a huge crowd of locals to watch what amounts to Turkısh MTV. When Usher came on wıth some song I dıdn't recognıze the local cognızentı went wıld, yellıng Usher, Usher, Usher. I trıed to explaın that he was a part owner of the Cavs, but they looked at me lıke I was a madman. Then I went upstaırs, put on my Lebron James t-shırt, and was greeted wıth applause when I returned. Good news about Ferry. Bye all.

You keep spreading the good word my globe trotting main man. I'm still not overly pleased that Usher is behind the Cavs as I'm not too partial towards his music, but hey, the cannot be enough Cavalier fans. Take care dude!

I think Usher is running the entertainment part of the Cavaliers. Meaning halftime shows, National Anthem singers ect. Usher is a good business man and is also a good spokesman because of his success.

aaronr, thats awsome that you were applauded by all those people by just wearing a Cavs jersey. :chuckles: There goes your split second of fame.

The only drawbacks to these June famıly vacatıons ıs that they keep me away from ınformatıon pertaınıng to the draft. I can remember yellıng an expetıve ın an ınternet cafe ın Marrakesh when we drafted Dıop and applaudıng Jackson's selectıon from Cuzco. I guess I'll check ın next from a small town near the Syrıan border, but don't expect anythıng excıtıng thıs year. (By the way Infante, I thınk ıt was Lebron,s face on the t-shırt rather than the Cavs' name that they were applaudıngç)

Well I hope you get some nice exciting news aaronr. I must say I am envious of your frequent world travels. I think its great you and your family get to see the world. Must be a wonderful experience. My only travels outside Australia have been to the United States (not a big cultural difference to here) last November / December and to Vanuatu (South Pacific Island) to get married a couple of years back. Safe travels man, and I hope next time you log on, you'll see that the Cavalier's have somehow managed to draft Andrew Bogut! :chuckles:
