Here’s to a long life and a merry one.
A quick death and an easy one.
A pretty girl and an honest one.
A cold beer—and another one!

* Yes, that's right. It's St. Patty's Day. And it's a Saturday. Some scheduling mishap aligned Boozer's first return to Cleveland with the day where there are the most drunk Americans of the year. Boozer's first sighting after 2 tulmultuous seasons... this guy has finally put it together - both mentally and physically - to make his first hurrah in Cleveland after his shenanigans.

* Our Cavaliers have been on a tear as of late. We have won 7 games in a row, with the beginning of the streak marked by Larry Hughes starting at point guard, with Pavlovic sliding into the starting shooting guard spot. With 3 days of rest under our belt, we should be ready to continue this trend of beating our opponents to a pulp.

* The Jazz, on the other hand, are at the end of a grueling East Coast trip. A couple heartbreaking losses in Florida to Miami and Orlando precede a trip to Philadelphia on Friday, then tonight in Cleveland, 2 back-to-backs in a row.

-: lyXo's Keys to the Game :-

* Run them into the ground. Make them tired. They already are from travelling. Hustle. Block shots. Dunk and get on the break at every opportunity. Rampage them to start every quarter. Do everything possible to get the crowd involved. 20500 fans, 30000 drunk. Make them them want to go home from their road trip and regroup, strike fear and steal their hope.

* Dominate. LeBron has been the best player in the league since the All-star break. AK-47 has always had trouble with LBJ, and tonight is no different. Continue his trend of 30+ points at 50% shooting, 8+ rebounds, and 8+ assists.

* Frontcourt strength. We'll have trouble with both Boozer in the low post, and Okur on the perimeter. Gooden will have to have the game of his life to stay in this lineup. We must keep the ball out of Okur's hands, stay between him and the ball. Z should be able to take care of Boozer in the post, given his height and length.

* Smooth offense. We've averaged 106 points per game since Hughes has been running to show. There is no reason to stop it now. Attack the basket, take good shots in motion, and pay attention to the shot clock.

Final Note:

We have always dominated the Jazz at home. Last game against them on Valentine's day, we lost a heartbreaker at the buzzer. That was in Utah. With the power of the crowd at home, and a full, functional lineup and offense, there is no reason why we should falter against a tired, travelling Utah Jazz team.

Domination and Retribution...
Cavs make a statement, 110-92

:chuckles:

It's the Grinch Who Fu**ed Cleveland

We take this team with ease. Damon Jones will get over double digits in this game.

I'm predicting 200 points in this one.

Derek is guarding Sasha? Maybe we should exploit that one.

Kirilenko has fallen off the face of the earth. The guy used to be an all-world defender with a blossoming offensive game. This year he's about as useful as a turd in a punch bowl.

Last time I remember Deron Williams had the game of his life. The guy was basically unstoppable at the end of that game. I can't believe that Boozer is actually going to be here, I wouldn't be suprised if he tweaks his hammy during the shootaround or something. AK-47 isn't as dominant as he once was, but the front court of him, Boozer, and Okur is still going to give us some problems. Okur especially since he has pretty damn good range and well, Z isn't going to be challenging on 3's very effectively.

But man, I just want to see these guy get blown out of the building. They lost another nail biter against Philly so this road trip has been pretty rough for em, nothing like a good blowout to cap it off, right? I'd love to see Newble and DJ have double digit outtings

He will pull his hamy this morning while waking up to get room service and than have to get "re-evaluted" at a hospital in new york. :chuckles:

Everybody talks about how good Utah is but we match up well with them and can take them easily. We only lost by a point at their house and had a lead for a while, too. Plus we won the previous four games against them by a combined 75 points. That's an average margin of victory of 19 pts per game.

I would give anything to see Drew have a career night against Boozer. 35 points, 20 boards from Gooden and my life is made.

Oh yeah btw, Okur and Boozer may be All-Stars, but Deron Williams is the best player on that team. No doubt. He KILLED us last time.

I just can't see the crowd allowing this team to lose this game.

Too much good karma in the air today. OSU pulls out a miracle, St Patty's Day in Cleveland, and Boozer's homecoming.

Just can't see us losing tonight.

<knock on wood>

Yeah man, I hear the BOOBIRDS big time already, every time he touches the ball, sweet

Utah up 11-8, game pace is picking up, starting to run. Drew coming out gunning.

Great ball movement by the Cavs, Z finds Pavs for the open dunk down the middle. Ohh that was pretty.
We are crowding the key collectively as a group, and moving out well outside 3 seconds. This 2.9 second defense thing may have been a good idea after all:rolleyes:
