Whats are your favorite game music tracks over the years? I'm pretty partial to classic NES tracks. The NES seriously had some amazing music. Although they were limited by the hardware, the midi style gave it a unique style. Capcom and konami in particular put out some very memorable and classic tunes. Here are a few of my favoirtes as a little kid that I still enjoy to this day.

Oh man, this track was probably the first one that I fell in love with. I use to hit the reset button on my NES to just listen to this.

I owned castlevania 2, which is kind of consideredt he bastard child of the series, but holly shit; this is probably the most famous castlevania track of all other than perhaps vampire killer.

You can probably put every damn track from megaman 2 on here. Megaman 2 might havet he greatest original game soundtrack of all time. Capcom was on fire in the 80's and 90's. It's really hard to pick the best ones from this game.

This is an underrated track in my mind from Mega-man 2. Most people will pick Dr Wiley stage 1 and metal man theme.

Capcom again. Guile's theme works in any situation.

Megan Man series
Zelda series
Super Mario 64
Mike Tyson's Punch Out
FFVII
Marble Madness
Starcraft series
Sonic The Hedgehog series

Bastion, hands down has the best soundtrack of any games I've played. Not only is the music great, but it fits the theme so well.

I used to do shrooms and get lost in the Mario party theme..

Trippy shit man

These were my jams as a kid... I was incredible at this game.

I'm gonna agree with Bastion, that's the best overall soundtrack I've ever heard

Now if we're going with video game inspired tracks, there's only one choice imo

And the greatest video game song ever

Turok the Dinosaur Hunter for N64 had an awesome soundtrack- it was sampled for Cypress Hill's 'Superstar' (Training Day song).
