W 123 Cleveland At Philadelphia 120

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Re: Cleveland At Philadelphia

MVP MVP MVP MVP MVP MVP :) That's all I got to say.

We had no right to win this game with our FT shooting and D but we did LOL

Re: Cleveland At Philadelphia

My god, even Detroit will be scared of us come playoff time.

Re: Cleveland At Philadelphia

One thing I have to say: great move by Brown to put Marshall and Gooden in together at the end. Finally cut Webber from the offense by not giving him open shots.

Love Z but the nice thing about this team is that after he was the hero we have the depth to make up for his weaknesses on D

Re: Cleveland At Philadelphia

man i must say that felt like that was lebrons best performance in his career to me.big props to larry hughes, now with both of them attacking the hoop like that there is no way to stop it.if u werent entertained on watching this game then you must not be a fan of good basketball.even if we happened to lose by 1 that game was the most fun and exciting game i've seen since the comeback against the suns.gooden man great job on the boards and jones on nailing those FT's.wow im still shaking from that game.that is why i never give up on games.

Re: Cleveland At Philadelphia

Now that turned out to be a fun game. That's the Cavs best win of the season so far. They were pretty weak defensively for 3 quarters but turned it up in the 4th when they had to. They wouldn't have done that in the past.

Huge games from Hughes and LeBron. Larry kept the Cavs in it for 3 quarters then LeBron took over.
LeBron did a great job of bouncing back from last night. He took good shots, took it strong to the hoop like he always should be, and showed the great passing and creating ability he has.

Gooden played well once again although his defensive effort was closer to the one he gave last season.

I don't think anyone anywhere should question again the Cavs signing of Hughes instead of players like Redd or Allen.

I don't want to put a damper on things but the championship talk is a little too early. The Cavs are a definite playoff team on the rise but this wasn't a Detroit or San Antonio we beat on the road, it was a decent Philly team. Still a big win though.

Re: Cleveland At Philadelphia

Incredible Incredible victory ...so much can be learned from this win, especially on the defensive end. But, first and foremost I want to commend Mike Brown for his best in-game coaching so far in his tenure as our head coach. SO MANY tactical moves to try and keep us fighting in a game where things were goi9ng wrong right and left. He never quit experimenting, mixing and matching different combos and offering numerous different looks to an offensive team that was RED HOT and seemingly not able to do anything wrong. THIS GUY IS THE REAL DEAL HEAD COACH WE'VE BEEN HOPING WE'D LAND !!

Several moves late led to just enough chaos that it gave us a window of opportunity to jump through and get back into this game and eventually win it. Getting our most athletic defender on AI was a must ...and Brown finally made ther call to getting Hughes on him and he was able to contain, if not stop AI ...Hughes was the game MVP, and not too many times can you say that when another player on your team gets a high figure triple double. But, Hughes was the reason that we weren't obliterated early on in the 2nd half. Going with Lebron and Hughes in the backcourt, and pulling Z and moving in Gooden and Marshall in the post , again, was a move I questioned but it made us a little better in controlling the painted area, even though Gooden was in spaz mode and his brain basically shut down fundamentally. He gutted it through and gave us some needed offense inside.

So many things I can touch on, but clearly this was not a masterpiece of defensive execution ..but...a testiment to never quitting and continuing to fight and find ways. That's coaching ...Mike Brown 's GOT IT.....and he's still just learning the ropes.

We've got a gem in Mike Brown.

No it wasn't San Antonio or Detroit, but, it was a Philly team playing about as good as it can ....they gave us all they could give and couldn't knock us out. This was a huge win, any way you slice it.

Re: Cleveland At Philadelphia

I watched this thing at a bar tonight.. My god, I wanted to leave that place sooner, but, when it got down to 94-99 Philly.. I had to stay and watch... What a win..

Re: Cleveland At Philadelphia

I agree it was a very big win. I just meant we shouldn't get overexcited after one game and think the Cavs will contend for a title this year. They are playing very well and will be a strong playoff team. It's just that it takes time to take the necessary steps to continue to build and gain the experience to be a legitimate contender.

Again, I'm not trying to put a damper on a great exciting game. That was only 1 part of the post.

Re: Cleveland At Philadelphia

is lebron the first player to have triple double this season?

Re: Cleveland At Philadelphia

Incredible win for us. I think this is a defining win for us. First, to come back like that shows that our guys have the killer mentality in them to continue fighting to the end. 2nd, a tough road game and I hope that this game gives our guys the added confidence going into road games. Congrats to our guys, they deserve all the praise we give them after tonight's game.

Re: Cleveland At Philadelphia

This game oozed quality. Defense took a backseat for a night as these teams went blow for blow. Congrats Mike Brown on a well coached game.

Re: Cleveland At Philadelphia

D Wade tripled doubled I thought..his 2nd one of his career? Not sure, oh well we won and that was my favorite game of my Cavalier viewingship.

Re: Cleveland At Philadelphia
