Re: Cleveland @ Indiana

Z is bucknasty tonight :chuckles: Seriously though dude is cold blooded

Re: Cleveland @ Indiana

Big Z makes his free throws. Sweet.

Re: Cleveland @ Indiana

Wow glad we didn't count on LeBron again for late game free throws..2-4 his last 2 trips with an airball..

Re: Cleveland @ Indiana

I was a bit nervous in the 4th but we get the win. A win is win even if is against an undermanned Pacers.

Re: Cleveland @ Indiana

Did anybody see the defense Jones did at the end? The steal and the in your face defense locking up saras to make him take about 2 seconds to get the ball in somebodies elses hand and throw up a prayer with 2 guys on him.

I honestly didn't think that was possible, if that was J-mac last yr. Saras woulda probably be open or jeff wouldn't even have a hand up.

Also this has to be the first time any announcer gave props to Jones like Tolbert did. :chuckles:

Re: Cleveland @ Indiana

Yeh props to Jones.

Re: Cleveland @ Indiana

Yeah very nice D at the end by everyone. I thought Jones played particularly well tonight. For whatever reason Jones is playing well off the bench with similar minutes as he was getting starting. Sasha didn't do much offensively, but he was playing some good D. The O was efficient, but we got outboarded by their athleticism on the long rebounds. Z just isn't that great on the long ones. Lebron quietly had a huge game even though he did miss some free throws at the end, he hit enough to dash the pacer's hopes of winning.

The Pacers on the other hand, are going to be VERY good if Peja works out for them at all and they get JO, Tinsley, and Foster back. But man, if you thought we had it tough with Hughes, the Pacers have pretty much had a key player out of their line-up chronically for the last 2 years.

Re: Cleveland @ Indiana

this game was great. z showed that he is a clutch player with his icy cool from the line.

jones showed that he is a defensive stud against one of the best lineups in the east.

Lebron showed that he is the modern #23. he's so jordan-like that they'll probably start calling him air-lebron.

I about fell out of my chair. Who are you, and what'd you do with the real Damon Jones? Perhaps Brown' constant focus on defense is starting to sink in, even on an old dog like Jones!
