W Phoenix 106 Cleveland 113

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Re: Cleveland vs Phoenix

Donyell just remembered that its legal to score inside the arc... great dunk!

Re: Cleveland vs Phoenix

Heh heh, goaltend on Lebron to Marion but we already have it. Up by 7 with 30 seconds left. 106-99 Cavs. What great heart by Lebron and defensive energy by AV, and enough guys made shots at the end to seal it. Terrific win after bad defensive effort through the 1st 3 quarters.

Bill Walton = Drama Queen

He is, he has some weird vendetta that I can't figure out...his boy is playing well enough for LA, I don't know why he's so damn defensive about everything. Get a life Bill.

Re: Cleveland vs Phoenix

The look on Mike Brown's face..."How the heck did we pull this out blowing our def. assignments..."

Re: Cleveland 113 Phoenix 106

LeBron was awesome. Andy's energy really disrupted the Suns flow. Great Win! Go Cavs!!

Re: W Cleveland 113 Phoenix 106

Bill walton cracks me up.

Re: W Cleveland 113 Phoenix 106

How great is it when our bench plays good. Brown realizing that he could not play a half court game with Phoenix and went small there at the 4th quarter and end of the game. Even Damon looked decent out there and obviously Andy V. provided a huge lift for us vs this run and gun team. I take nothing away from Z, for he has been playing great lately but when our other guys come up big vs a team that likes to run, then it is a great feeling...

Re: W Cleveland 113 Phoenix 106

Good adjustments by Mike Brown, especially, as you pointed out RichOne, not playing Z much in the 2nd half and going with the smaller line up. Some stupid moments from both AV and Sasha, but they proved their worth. Nice to see Sasha attacking. Lebron, well, you know. And hey, good free throw shooting down the stretch.

It was amazing to me to watch the Suns come apart once the momentum shifted in the 4th. When their offense is on, it looks like everything is happening with preordained smoothness. But Lordy they started running around like headless chickens, rushing every shot. Goes to show what a little defensive pressure can do.

Bill Walton is an entertaining moron.

When Bill Walton speaks it's like someone is just pinching his nose with a clamp lol it's so funny.

Re: W Cleveland 113 Phoenix 106

A prime example of good coaching.

Z was matched up wrong. Speed kills him. Anderson was the perfect choice, and he played extremely well. Why hasn't he been in the gameplan previously? He seems to fit the Mike Brown mold of hustle defense and rebounding. He even drove Nash nutty.

Props also to starting Pavs. I didn't think it would work, but he has scored and not killed us with dumb errors. He is gaining confidence.

And LeBron? He's better than anyone. He beat them almost single handedly, and would have triple doubled had Donyell hit anything at all.

25-17. Woo hoo.

Re: W Cleveland 113 Phoenix 106

Sasha is scoring alomst 10ppg in his 5 starts, He isn't very consistant and hopefully that changes. He also gets in foul trouble but he has been key to get us winning again, He attacks the basket and can shoot the 3. He has been better than anyone else we had starting since Hughes.

Great game by Varejao and Sasha, both are proving that we just might have that deep bench when Hughes comes back and that will be huge!

Re: W Cleveland 113 Phoenix 106

Moo: AV needed to be benched to provide incentive to learn the half-court defensive system Brown wants to put into place.

Varejao can walk onto any court with any coach and do a great job playing in transition. The Brazilian game is all about transition. He is a bit of a freelancer in the half court, making some errors in positioning. Brown wants his defenders to freelance within the confines of a the 2.9 defense. By holding playing time over Varejao's head, he will gain more discipline on the defensive end, and consequently be a better player for it.

Re: W Cleveland 113 Phoenix 106

Hey, I was just thinking. Why don't we give Varejeo a chance to start.
