Re: Portland @ Cleveland

Udoka is actually starting! Wow. I watched him playing for Nigeria I think, and he was bad.

This is just a game we should take 10+. We have to get a killer mentality. We did that early last season against the nobodies.

I really want to see Gibson out there and a blowout is my only chance. I am pinning my hopes, albeit probably in vein, on him being a solid player and taking the point guard duties away from Eric and Damon.

Dangerous game. Cavs may not be there mentally. We just need a strong effort by our frontcourt rotation as Magliore and Randolph is a solid pairing. Get them in foul trouble and they should be finished. Who know's what their perimeter players will come up with. Dixon is to be washed. he is that type of player that generally punishes us.

Re: Portland @ Cleveland

I saw Zach Randolph today at Sakkio's in Tower City...He picked up some Chicken Teriyaki.. He was with another guy.. (Maybe Aldridge, but not sure.. Definitely wasn't Prysbilia or however you spell it..)

I thought Randolph was a fat dude... Far from it.. Granted, he's no LeBron in terms of strength, but who is... :chuckles:

Free samples every time you pass that place, yesss...

OK, I've got to get this in here after looking at Portland's starting lineup. Randolph and Magloire are excellent rebounders, but neither can pass worth jack (no pun intended :chuckles: ). So, if we win the rebounding battle, we win the game. We can do it, too. Z owns the height advantage on Mags, Gooden can hang with Randolph. Throw in Lebron's huge rebounding advantage over the nameless 3 and we should have it, not to mention Varejao going out and scrapping for every board.

If we do this, the only guy that can beat us is Jarret Jack. I don't know how much faster than Snow/Jones he is so I can't comment. Hopefully Gibby will get some time out there against Jack too.

Re: Portland @ Cleveland

Basically if we restrict their hustle plays (2nd chance points, points of to's) they will be struggle with Randolph their only true offensive weapon. Webster and Jack can score, but their game isn't all there yet. Lets hope they dont find it tonight.

Big test for Drew tonight. They will be going right at him.

Re: Portland @ Cleveland

Now I haven't watched games of POR, but looking at their line-ups, their bench looks to be strong, but stop Randolph and I think there isn't much. That is not backed up by info though. Need a W.

Re: Portland @ Cleveland

I'm guessing that Graham has defended LeBron alot at training, so they thought what the heck.

I can just here Stephen going...

Great start as Hughes hits the 20 footer!

Larry though called for the foul stripping Randolph!
