Raptors Notes
After losing their first 2, the Toronto Raptors have won 2 straight. During these 4 games, Charlie Villanueva has been on a tear, averaging 17.3 PPG, proving so far he may have been worthy of a high draft pick. Their 2 losses have been close, one loss in OT. Their first win was an OT victory over the NJ Nets. Their latest win they beat the Celtics by 10, with Rook Joey Graham scoring 20, and Peterson with 21. With Vince Carter gone, Chris Bosh is The MAN on the Raptors. This season may be his year to break out.

Cavaliers Notes
The Cleveland Cavaliers have also won 2 straight, thanks to the return of The Chosen One, recovering from pleurisy. Even not at 100%, LeBron has scored 26 and 30 in the last 2 games, leading the Cavaliers to victory. With 2 games left, its time to start nailing down rotations, giving starters more minutes, and playing to win.

Overview
Obviously, the Raptors are a team the Cavaliers SHOULD beat every time. However so far in the Preseason, the Raptors have shown they will not lie down for any opponent. The Cavaliers must bring it strong and early to squash any hopes of a Raptors win. I predict a big first quarter lead, which is not challenged for the entire game. LeBron has played well vs Toronto, with his 56 career high and his most dominant triple-double performance both @ Toronto. He will have another dominant game, and since my hometown is C-Bus, its a guaranteed victory!

Re: Toronto Raptors VS Cleveland Cavaliers

I put some time into this thread because i wanted to do a good job. Thanks to IyXo and Karma for providing me with a model to go from. This was a new step for a computer-challenged Cavs fan. Hope my Cavaliers Brothas enjoy it!

Re: Toronto Raptors VS Cleveland Cavaliers

Excellent job HPD...

Charlie V. vs "THE KING" will be a delicious matchup..

Their other rookie Joey Graham is coming off a 20pt effort..

Re: Toronto Raptors VS Cleveland Cavaliers

I think LeBron is going to beat up big time on Villenueva, he is faster obviously...He can shoot it from the perimeter and make him come out, or he can take him to the rack off the dribble. Charlie will try to use his size advantage to back James down but I don't see it happening LeBron isn't as tall but he is a solid 245 pound frame, he has a lot of tricks when opponents back him down. He will take contact then back of and when the ball carrier tries to initiate more contact he comes around from either side to strip him. LeBron will make this guy look like a rookie. Good preview btw HPD

Re: Toronto Raptors VS Cleveland Cavaliers

i don't expect toronto to put up much of a fight... it will go to naught anyway, cavs win by at least 9 on this match-up

Re: Toronto Raptors VS Cleveland Cavaliers

Villanueva and LBJ had a good repoire with each other when they played in the McDonald's High School All Star Game. They know each other's games fairly well. In other words, Charlie lost even more hair last night.

Injuries have forced the Cavs to rest a few regulars. This game seems to be a chance for the backups to makea statement before the season begins.

Re: Toronto Raptors VS Cleveland Cavaliers

D. Jones hit a clutch runner off-the-glass.

Re: Toronto Raptors VS Cleveland Cavaliers

D. Jones, Eric Snow, LeBron, Marshall and Z come out for the Cavs.

14.5 seconds left.

Re: Toronto Raptors VS Cleveland Cavaliers

James fouled. 11.6 seconds left to go.

Re: Toronto Raptors VS Cleveland Cavaliers

James makes the first free-throw (84-81), makes the second (85-81). Toronto calls a 20 second timeout.
