Luke bashing simply will not be tolerated.....

Coach Brown apparently doesn't have a problem with Jackson or any perceived slowness. Luke has been given minutes because Brown likes his defensive play better than what Sasha has been doing at that end. Sasha did look better last night and played more aggressive than he does many times. It was all in garbage time though.

Luke has average lateral quickness. He will have trouble staying with quicker wing players. Other than Hughes, that's the case with every Cavs wing player--even LeBron.
I really didn't see any problem with Jackson's quickness last night. He did a good job of staying with his man and fighting defensively. His passing ability also rivals just about any other Cav.

It seems that Luke is getting some similar type of criticism that Z gets. Neither may always look pretty on the court or make a bunch of highlight reel plays, but they hustle and do what they're supposed to be doing.

Narl.. I will admit as well, he is a little slow.. Kinda reminds me of Wally like slowness...Luke needs to play under control.. You can see by his body language he is either extremely excited, or nervous out there...

"Z" is older and has every piece of metal under the sun in his feet.. Thus, his excuse..

Luke is slow, "Z" is robotic..

Narl because the game was in hand I spent most of the end of the game watching guys play off the ball on defense. Thus, I spent quite a bit of time watching Luke and that's how my opinion was formed. Maybe it was an off game for him, Im willing to concede that but I consider myself to be pretty educated about the NBA and Ive seen my fair share of games and I can only tell you what I saw. Dont get me wrong I love Luke as well, maybe not as much as LePip does (strange) but Im also for who I think the better player is getting the time. Also the turnovers, while they cant be overlooked, should be able to be brought down once he gets more experience, I would just love to see him create his own shot instead of waiting for an open look. Perhaps thats why I favor Sasha he is always slashing and creating for himself.
