WAITIN ALL DAY FOR SUNDAY NIGGHHHHTTTTT vs Giants

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Just need to win by 1. Then beating the Jets almost assuredly gets us in

I disagree on just winning by 1 point. We need a convincing win tonight to keep the confidence up against a Jets team that's in it right now against the Rams.

I know each week the team resets and it's a new game but we have to actually carry some winning momentum into that Jets game to minimize the chances of a letdown.

For example, if BAL would've beat us down on Monday night like they did week 1 I would be worried about tonight. We're carrying a lot of momentum into this game so I'm not as panicked.

This is pretty silly.

I firmly believe that NFL players really don't care *how* they win as long as they win. This isn't college where style points matter.

If this was true you wouldn't hear about players talking about having momentum heading into the next week or trying to avoid a letdown after a big win.

Statistically it will only go down as a win or a loss but momentum and confidence from week to week is real.

I'm not suggesting momentum and confidence aren't real. I'm saying that a team squeaking out a win is not likely to negatively affect them the following week. It doesn't really work like that.

And as far as what guys saying after games and during the week. I wouldn't read much into any of that. They're mandated to talk and the vast majority of them say the same cliche things. Almost never do you get a truly insightful answer from a football player (or coach for that matter).

I agree with you but to be fair, if there's one franchise who can be the exception to this it's probably us until proven otherwise.

if obj don't show up in a fracture & cast boot with cleats

They have too put him on one of those screens in the endzone after a TD. Have too. There's too much marketing there for the league to be against it. I'm pretty sure he's on standby just for that moment.
