Washington @ Cleveland GAME #1

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Hooray beer.

Plan A : get the ball to Z and attempt to get Haywood in foul trouble.

Plan B : give it to LeBron. Repeat this over and over and over and over and we win the game.

c) PLEASE PLEASE PLEEEEEEASE play a little bit of team D.

d) LeBron hit your FT's. This first game is gonna be really close. I can feel it.

I think AV will be a huge factor....

The ESPN analysts said Varejao is The X-Factor because of the type of energy he brings to the game, he will excite the crowd which will inject life in the team. They also said no one matches this guys energy  Hooray Veryjoe

It feels GOOD to be excited about the playoffs again here in Cleveland.

I'm getting the same feelings I got when I loved Penny Hardaway and watched the Magic every year.

Win or Lose, I'm so excited we're starting the playoffs. I'll be wearing my LeBron jersey in front of the TV. GO CAVS!

I decided last week that I needed to grow a beard to support my boys. My fiance's pissed, but I'm hoping it will be enough to put them over the top...

There's nothing rational about being a fan...

there's nothing rational about a fiance. Keep the beard, the cavs can use all the mojo they can get.

I'm off to the game..

Pip Wait Hubie Brown Is Calling This One!!! Stay Here! :chuckles:

Cavs need to take game 1. I don't want to already be down 1 and fail to take advantage of homecourt.

I really want this series. I'm sick of the lack of respect from many in the national media. They're writing off a 50 win season and overestimating the 3-1 Wizards record in the season series. They fail to take into account that Hughes didn't play in 2 of the losses, Lebron didn't play in 1 and Z was a victim of horrible officiating and thrown out of 1 of the games. 1 of the losses was also the night when the Cavs and especially LeBron forgot how to make FT's.
I really want the Cavs to shut up some in the national media who I have to wonder if they really know that much about this team and about it's players..

3 Things I Can't Understand About the Media's Take on This Series:

1) I've heard it said a few times that both teams play up-tempo offense but at least the Wiz play defense. Huh? Don't they give up an average of 100 pts. +? The games around 95-97? The Wiz don't play defense. They won't suddenly turn it on in the playoffs if they don't have the pieces. They have some good shot blocking, that's about it.

2) The Wiz have a lot of momentum from winning 3-1 regular series. Well, that should be 2-1, seeing how the last game, no starters played in the 4th b/c it meant nothing to us. And those middle two games were sans Larry. I know you all know this, I just get p**ssed seeing it.

3) The Z/Haywood matchup isn't the key/X-factor. I've heard a few saying it's AV, a few saying it's Arenas, a few saying it's Lebron, a few saying it's Hughes. Z is the best matchup exploitation we have. If we don't take advantage of it, it'll be a tough series to win. I can't believe people are missing this.

Edit: Funny, Narls, we just posted some similar complaints. Looking at ESPN, like me?

Can't wait for this to get started.....

The Cavalier Force........unstoppable it is...... :king:

Its been 8 long years for many hardcore Cavalier Fans. For those that were there during the lean years, this is just awesome. Cavs are back baby, led by King James......
