I look at New England's record and I can't tell if they are any good.
The team is 5-4, but they got 4 free wins from the Jets (x2), Panthers, and Texans.
The only quality win on there chart was againt the Chargers, and that was mostly due to some timely turnovers.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I think the Browns take 'em to the cleaners.

I’m a Hatriot. F*ck Bill Belichick.

Poor Chud only needed an onside kick recovery and he would have beaten NE and maybe lasted another year. As it happened he never got to celebrate New Years Eve as HC.

That should be a suspension. Probably won't be because it's New England, but if a DL was caught on film doing the exact same thing to a QB, he'd miss multiple games.

Brady is thankfully gone from there, but it's still Belicheat and the Cheatriots.
Given how NFL officiating has been and how close behind Buffalo New England is, expect some bullshit.

Need the Browns to kick ass like they did last week to let 'em know.

Felton & Chubb are out with Covid

FiveThirtyEight's inhuman algorithms have this game ranked as the second most important game of the year for the Browns, behind only Monday, Jan 3rd against the Steelers.

The Football Gods are determined for this Browns season to be on Madden difficulty.
Defense handicap, offense handicap in key games, strength of schedule, arrangement of games (back-to-back with the LuckBirds?), the particularly derelict officiating (Chargers game still pisses me off, and the league straight up rigs it for the Steelers).

I hope the Browns kick the Cheatriots' asses, just like they did Cincy last week.

With New England at home in this matchup, I don't feel great about it. I have also seen far lesser defensive coordinators than Bill Belichick shut this offense completely down.

I expect a low scoring game with the Patriots stacking the box and daring Baker to beat them throwing deep and to the outside hashes from the pocket. Winning this is 100% on Baker's shoulders, and I'm not sure his shoulders can structurally take the weight.

On the other side of the field, Mac Jones processes the defense well for a rookie, but he is still a rookie quarterback. I expect more press man and blitzes than Joe Woods usually employs to keep the game close, hopefully force a few of those turnover thingies that happened last week.

I wouldn’t go as far as saying I feel confident enough about the Browns to win that I’d put money on it, but the Pats are 1-4 at home and their only impressive win was against the Chargers. Lost to the Dolphins, barely beat the Texans. Their resume isn’t anything special. And their offense is pretty garbage. Harris and Stevenson may not play. If the defense gives up more than 20 points than Joe Woods should be fired on the spot.
