Week 10 vs Texans

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The older i get the more pissed i get they didnt build a dome stadium. Really a bad decision, with the lake front, the snow belt, and bad weather in general, they should have built a dome.

Didnt the Lerners pay out of pocket for the escalators? Like if the city said “nawh we cant afford escalators” im sure a dome and the air handlers to support the dome werent even on the table for discussion.

Perhaps most importantly, it was good that Chubb went out of bounds because I forgot to set my fantasy lineup and having him on the bench would have been even more embarrassing if he got an additional TD.

Are you a new Browns fan? We have Brownsed up wins like this before. We lost to the Bears after being up 14 with 30 seconds to go in 2001. It not only can happen, it HAS happened to us.

We PROBABLY win if Chubb scores. We DEFINITELY win if he runs it out at the 1. It was a good decision, unlike yours to keep trying to Los216 on this hill for no apparent reason. You're wrong, take the L and move on.

Y'all are absolutely insane. We weren't going to "Browns" it up, going up by 10 against a team that managed 3 points in the previous 59 minutes, with under 40 seconds left. The win probability at that point was above 99.9% if Chubb runs it in.

Was it smarter that he went out of bounds? Yes, I agree with that, and I haven't yet disagreed with that point. I was just saying that we're splitting hairs comparing a .01% chance to lose vs 0 percent. I don't understand the over-the-top praise for Chubb. He did what the coach and the team asked him to do. Good job and all, but no one faults him if he scores the TD either (Stefanski literally said this) and we are still celebrating a win. I'm more impressed with the move he put on the defender in the backfield, than the decision to go out of bounds.

My point is that the Browns VERY likely still win the game if Chubb punches it in. Is that really wrong?

As I've said, time and time again, it doesn't even matter. I'm just glad the team won the game.

Thanks for repeating what everyone else said and for the insults. Appreciate it.

Chubb going out of bounds was not a bad play, except for fantasy/betting purposes.

Do we win the game is he scores? Almost assuredly. But him going out essentially takes away any chance Houston had. I think it's smart, even if it only negligibly helps us.

I agree with this 100%. I’m moving on to Philadelphia.

Actually a dome was discussed but they decided against it because we wanted "real" football. A dome has come up again in 2018 when the renovated the current stadium. The lease is up in 2028, that will be the 30 year mark for First Energy, I am guessing it will be replaced in the next decade or so.

I’d have been absolutely outraged as a Texans fan. Every single person in that building knew that runs were coming and they still allowed a massive run to let the game get iced. It’s so nice to be on the other end of those situations for a change.

It's the Browns. I'm just grateful he didn't fumble the ball out of the end zone.
