Week 12 (11/30): Ravens (3-7) @ Browns (2-8) [8:30 PM EST, ESPN]

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Considering the ball was about 6-feet in the air, I don't really give a shit who was blocking.

Although people who don't care about that kind of stuff will use it as a reason to provide us with their hottest of takes.

I guess the question i have to ask is why is a kicker with a career long of 48 yards on a NFL roster, but that is a whole different debate.

According to ESPN, his longest is actually only 44 yards. Keep in mind that he is only a rookie... Coons has been damn good with FGs. Hasn't missed all season, except for the one that was blocked last night.

48 yards was in college.

And he has been very accurate, but 48 yards as a career long at any level is probably easily 10 yards shorter than every other kicker on any team.

Does anyone have the stats on his attempts past 50 yards? I mean, has he missed all his attempts or has he just not taken many in that range?

While 48 yards is rather short for a career long for an NFL kicker, the 58 yards you claim would hardly be the norm for most professional kickers. Since the NFL merged with the AFL in 1970, there have been 25 different seasons where no successful kicks of 58 yards or longer occurred. That's 25 out of 45 seasons.
