Preview:

The Ravens control their own destiny for winning the NFC North behind the best defense in the NFL at home and an offense that tries to control the clock. After the Browns comfortably handled the Ravens at the start of their reboot, the Ravens have found a new energy behind Lamar Jackson.

Lamar Jackson starts many plays with read option action, which causes defenders to read and react from the snap rather than attack. Jackson is running with the football an insane early 20th century 16+ carries a game. His rushes and threat to rush stretch the defenders wider along the line of scrimmage. His running backs, while not overly talented, have been taking advantage of less eyes on them when they get a handoff. Jackson's biggest weakness continues to be correctly feeling out the pocket while keeping his eyes upfield. He likes to drop crossing routes right in front of him when a play breaks down or slither through the second line of defense for extra yards. He hit a huge pass down field to Mark Andrews, but other than that his accuracy outside the numbers has been questionable.

Ravens started the week as seven point favorites at home with a division title on the line. As of today, the line has moved to between five and 5 1/2 points. The big money has been going towards the Browns all week long.

Prediction: Browns crush their hopes and dreams because fuck the Modell family.

Browns 24 - Ravens 17.

Line down to +5

It's funny how the Browns have gone back to being a good "reverse public team" bet this year after being overmatched over and over under Hue.

They are something like 10-5 or 9-6 ATS this year depending on where you look - I think they were 7 to 10 point favorites against the Bengals, but should never have gotten careless at the end the way they did.

They also could have scored again on the Bengals last week but opted not to.

Go Browns! Excited as hell to end the ravens season in their building tonight

Should be an L.

Jk. Cant watch. Driving back to Charlotte from Cleveland. Gonna try to find a stream on my phone in the car.

He obviously doesn’t need the extra motivation, but there’s a small part of me that hopes we lose so the last thing Baker Mayfield sees going into the offseason is a loss to a divisional opponent that gets them into the playoffs.

So, local broadcasting decides that the 2 channels that show NFL football will air the Giants/Cowboys and Jets/Patriots? Not the Browns/Ravens? When the last game of the year actually has a lot riding on it?

My local programming is playing the Raiders game eventhough the city of Oakland doesn't want the Raiders to play in their city next year.

Sign a contract with Netflix, NFL. There is no saving the idiocy of network television.

NFL moving this game to 4:30, the same time as Steelers/Bengals, is pure idiocy. And because of that, I won't be able to watch on cable.

I can't believe this is the last Browns game for 8 months. Gonna be having withdrawals.

July will be the best month ever because NFL will pick up. I'm looking forward to following training camp religiously.

Yeah wtf this is the first game this year not on cable?
