Freeman starting to separate himself from the "pack"... he's looking pretty good right now.. but like MLB.. getter there is one of the hardest things to do in professional sports.. it's right up there with staying in MLB... We'll see...

I never viewed Cecconi as a realistic candidate for an opening day spot on the roster.
TMac was obviously gonna get the first crack at the fifth spot in the rotation....and the front office wasn't gonna kick Allen to the curb.
And the bullpen is loaded.
Cecconi is a project. Hes probably not a total rebuild, but there are several months of adjustments to be made.
