Week 3 2018 | Jets at Browns

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Bumping this for the absurdity of it.

Baker would have been 20/23 for 260 yards without three drops!

In essentially one half and one drive of a game.

He had to be on pace for 400+ yards if he had started and played the whole game.

Can someone elaborate on some of the venom Jamie Collins was getting for his play last night? What was he doing/not doing?

I don't think he's been bad, I just think people are expecting more big plays from him. He's looked solid to me so far. I know on Hard Knocks he was the main guy preaching about our defense being all about forcing turnovers and they've backed that up so far.

Was Crowell interviewed after the game?

Browns week 3 snap counts

Defense (63 plays)
Defensive Line

Larry Ogunjobi 60
Myles Garrett 57
Trevon Coley 54
Chris Smith 41
Anthony Zettel 6
Carl Davis 4
Chad Thomas 4

Linebackers
Joe Schobert 63
Jamie Collins 61
Genard Avery 36
James Burgess 19

Cornerbacks

Denzel Ward 62
Terrance Mitchell 57
TJ Carrie 37

Safeties

Damarious Randall 62
Jabrill Peppers 40
Derrick Kindred 30

Garrett and Ogunjobi are just freaks. Straight up. Those two guys have played 96.7% and 92.5% of the defensive snaps respectively through three games. Gregg is leaning on them hard and they're both stepping up to the plate.

Gregg is doing a lot of different things defensively.

Peppers and Kindred are on the field at the same time a pretty reasonable amount with Peppers playing a nickel linebacker role at times. Sometimes they're both at safety with Randall sliding down and straight up playing slot corner. Avery continues to work as an edge rusher and off the ball as an outside linebacker.

It's kind of incredible that the Browns are doing so well when you consider they're essentially only playing 3 cornerbacks each week even though every team in the league is basically using 11 personnel (3WR, 1 TE) as their standard formation.

Wow, can't believe boddy got taken out of the rotation completely. Would have thought he would get some burn last night

In the meantime I'll just be:

I can’t wait 10 days.

So I am going to change the meaning of the most Cleveland way to do something.

A hometown guy returns home to break an over 50 year city wide championship streak for the Cavs.

Now the number 1 overall pick who is supposed to not start until next year comes in game 3 down 14 and looks all world in bringing the Browns their first victory in almost 2 years.

This is the most Cleveland way to break a fucking winless streak.
