In a game that just one month ago seemed like the most important defining game of the first third of the season, what once looked to be a coin flip game has become an expected dose of bitter medicine for the Browns Backers. As the Browns have stumbled out of the gate, we have kept an eye on the equally young Ravens from afar like this:

dcae58bec56c6afb4da9919975be2c9b.gifVegas opened the week with the Ravens favored by four points. As of this morning, the Ravens are favored by seven, with the Baltimore fans growing in confidence throughout the week.

The Ravens enjoyed an easier opening schedule, but they have superceded their expectations in those games. Lamar Jackson has displayed improving accuracy, throwing eleven touchdowns compared to zero interceptions. Most disturbing, their running game has looked formidable whether it is veteran bellcow Mark Ingram or backup Gus Johnson toting the rock. Defensively, they face a Browns defense that has been quietly carrying the offense. They are among the leaders in putting pressure on the quarterback. One area of concern would be consistent run defense, making the Ravens a potential bad matchup. Demarius Randall returns at free safety to help alleviate some pressure, but otherwise the defensive backs will continue to be backups stepping up. The most important matchup on this side of the ball will be rookie Mack Wilson in coverage against Mark Andrews, who has been Jackson's favorite possession option.

On the other side of the ball, Chris Hubbard returns at right tackle, hopefully buying Baker Mayfield more time to throw. So far this season, Hubbard has been off to a poor start, but his emergency fourth tackle backup hasn't fared much better. According to ESPN the Ravens are in the top five in the NFL in both blitz and pressure percentage to start the season. It is no secret that pressure has been getting in Mayfield's head by the end of games.

More on the Browns offense later, my three year old just took a piss all over the couch...

Gonna need some game feed streams - first one not on tv here in Chicago....

Oh, and sorry to hear about the pisser Keys. Good times.

Must've put a Ravens helmet under his/her ass.

I'm feeling an early blowout caused by early INTs thrown by Baker

The parallels between my toddler and Mayfield the past month are bountiful. Tons of swagger, natural leader in preschool, cannon for an arm... and then suddenly pisses himself at the most inopportune times.

Another game, another instance in which I see the Browns struggling to break 20 points.

Brandon Williams being OUT for BAL will probably end up being the difference in this game. Their secondary like ours is already missing players. They have been able to fall back on that D-Line but I don't see that happening now. Chubb should go off which could open up the passing game.

Did Avery fuck Freddie or wilks wife?

As mentioned multiple times, Avery is a pass rush specialist who struggles in coverage and against the run. When the scheme changed to Wilks's 4-2-5, he became a liability against teams with a good run game. He is third string until he improves against the run as a DE, catches up to Mack Wilson in coverage, or somebody gets injured.

Hopefully your toddler does not have a twitter account and is tweeting Antonio Brown !!

I’m pretty fucking tuned up for this game.

Could be a tide turner in our season.

LETS. FUCKING. GO.

I wont be down if we lose, in Baltimore is always tough, but if we win, we become favorites again in the North.....exciting game
