Give Lamar some garbage stats so it doesn’t look as bad. Still just checking everything down though. He can only push the ball downfield to a TE. Defenses have adjusted and he needs to figure out how to throw to the boundary or this is just what he is.

Yeah, they can make the playoffs but you aren't winning a Super Bowl running a High School offense. You just aren't.

He's still young, though. No reason to think he's reached his peak...but he's got a ways to go.

You do know that a ton of Baker's yards today were YAC yards right? Lamar really isn't a bum. He is a good young QB, especially when you consider his draft position. Calling him a bum is just not grounded in reality.

For sure. But he is still hasn't even played a full season yet. If I had to guess he will be QB there for a few years until they realize he just isn't good enough to win a SB. But then again they won with Dilfer so who knows.

Agreed. It is one of the most satisfying Browns wins I can remember in a long time. Beating the Roethlisberger led Steelers in Pittsburgh is about the only thing that could top it. Other than winning in the playoffs of course.

Before OBJ gets the ball, Baker hands it to Chubb., Chubb pitches to Landry, then Landry pitches to OBJ. Gumble, like I think a lot of announcers do, called it a "triple reverse". It is not a triple reverse.

Hand off to Chubb = sweep
Pitch to Landry = reverse
Pitch to OBJ = Double reverse

I don't know when people forgot what constitutes a reverse. I know it doesn't matter, but it bugs me.
