Yeah, was just about to say that. The line looked awful run blocking and Kareem looked hobbled. Seemed like throwing was the best course of action, even score aside.

The line wasn’t good but they looked marginally better pass blocking than they did run blocking.
Well they looked like dogshit pass blocking too. So add the even worse run blocking and what do you get?

It's a fact that the OL is only as good as their weakest link. As long as Hance was the weakest link we could get by. With Hudson as the weakest link, and with Hance still being a backup, no bueno.

What baffles me is Stefanski and AVP did little to nothing scheme-wise to help with the blocking on the edges.

I did not expect us to come out in empt for what felt like the first two drives. Putting those guys on an island against AZ's dline could never have been a recipe for success.

Add to it Baker holding the ball too long and it was a total disaster.
