Soft ass Delpit who didn’t bother tackling in the CFP? Nah.It’s a true shame we don’t have Delpit.
Mayfield has made terrible decisions under an immense amount of pressure.... but the bigger concern for me is just how badly we’re getting embarrassed in the trenches on both sides of the ball today. Vanilla blitz packages by the browns have been no trouble and Baker is getting swallowed whole on ever play... and no - I don’t think it’s solely an issue of him stepping up in the pocket our adequately making the easy reads... not today.
This team has been ravaged by the two playoff teams they’ve faced. Looking like another 30+ point loss. Unfortunately, those seem more telling than finally getting over the hump of consistently beating shitty teams.
You leave him in because the only way this team finds their next QB is by losing.I will say this...
I don't care how bad this game gets.
Baker Mayfield needs to play the entire game unless he is too injured to play. If he's pulled for a lack of performance, that's the end of his career.
So unless Stefanski is ready to go to Keenum permanently, keep Mayfield in.
ESPN First Take: “Was OBJ calling people names on the sidelines?”Can't wait to hear the hot takes about diva OBJ yelling at the offense on the sidelines.
