Mowed. Raked. Napped. The napping was mostly offset by my son kicking my face and my wife having to yank him out of the bed, but it was a decent nap. Just woke up.

Notable...rebuilds don’t have to be this uncompetitive and teams do start winning games the next year as evidenced by...an awful lot of teams that have started winning year two of a rebuild. This regime also probably sucks.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
It takes talent to win and the Browns come into each new regime with very little talent carried over from the previous regime. Now we're at the point where there was basically nothing carried over from Petitine's time here. Less than half a dozen players from those two years have managed to stay with this team and only one is a probowl talent. That's the difference between us and every other team that has to rebuild. You need talent to win therefore it's just plain stupid to expect wins without talent being in place.

Yup. And if they keep drafting like they have the past two years, we should have some actual talent in a year or two. We've seen them draft quite a few starters already.

To be fair, though, Hue Jackson has just been completely awful. I think he needs to go at this point. I can't imagine anyone in the locker room has any faith in him any more.

I'd rather not can Hue yet. He's not adapting to his personnel at all which is disappointing. It's obvious he wants the ball moved down the field but Kizer wasn't ready to be relied on so heavily. Hogan doesn't even give his wide receivers an opportunity to catch the ball. Hue also needs to stop calling plays, way too eager to call pass plays instead of sticking to a plan.

I would draft BPA with our top pick then build up receiver, corner, and running back through the draft/free agency. Roll out with Kizer and a veteran free agent quarterback as a backup unless the BPA is a quarterback. I think Hue needs more players that fit his vision before we can pass judgement on his HC abilities.

Good regimes find talent that can win a year or two later...namely, at the skill positions. Specifically, QB’s. Guys that can actually score touchdowns. They also get good coaches.

This regime has fucked up twice at QB and hasn’t gotten anybody that really impacts the game aside from Garrett.

I’d be apt to keeping them around just to see out their plan, but it sounds like Hue fucking sucks at game day management which means coaches usually end up losing locker rooms. He’ll probably get canned.

Whatever...the owner sucks, every regime has sucked so far...it would only make sense this one does too.

But there’s no excuse for being as bad as they are. And it’s just a fact that teams consistently turn it around fast and the league and part of it is previous talent but more of it is nailing QB and skill positions and finding coaches that can mold them.

Sounds like the Browns haven’t gotten any of this right again.

I keep saying sounds like becauase...as i’ve made clear, I haven’t watched the last two regimes play.

This regime didn't care about WRs, that's my only gripe. They took a chance on Kizer, fine, but the trade downs, and lack of playmakers is very frustrating.

Was at the game. Waste of a Sunday.

I do not understand why Hogan wasn't yanked after being even worse than Kizer. Quite a message for Hue to send.

This team is downright awful, and they Hue is at the center of it, man. I'm not ready to give up on the FO because I think they've been fine in accumulating assets in order to really build from the ground up, but that needs to start this offseason, and probably with a new coaching staff.

I think their entire stupid plan was draft their own and develop them.

But as we can see, they suck at that.

I think Coleman is at least solid, nothing special. He keeps getting hurt. The rest aren't good enough to be starters in this league.

Remember when O'Brien was an awful coach who ruined QB's like Osweiler!?!?

@sportscoach

Browns also have 11 penalties and 3 Turnovers which gave the Texans a lot of points lol

I still don't think Texans are a playoff team, but the browns have to start playing a full game on both sides of the ball regardless

If Jackson goes, I don't think Williams needs to go since the defense hasn't been bad, it's the offense that has been stinking

I am not as High on Coleman as most. I think he was a bad pick even if healthy, i dont see anything to great. I dont think Sashi and company are doing bad though, they messed up on Wentz, but I was not high on him either, i personally think Watson will fizzle, to RG3 like but not as much arm talent.

What is really bothering me is I just dont see Jackson doing well. He has completely misfired on QB. Keys and I begged not to start a rookie and keep Brock for the year to be a bridge QB, atleast for the first 8 games or so. He refuses to give up play calling and even a blind man can see the play calling sucks. The defense is greatly improved, but our QB guru might have the worst QB play in the history of the franchise this year, and we all know that is saying something because how awful it has been the last 20 years.

I dont want to blow up everything, but Hue should fighting for his job these last 9 games.
