Week 7: Browns (3-2) @ Jaguars (0-6); 19 Oct, 1:00 PM EDT, CBS

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I mean. We played bad, but one bad game is not enough to bench your QB. We just need to come in strong next week and win.

Yeah but I mean if they wanted to make a run, especially after losing that Baltimore game, they had to win this game. They're going nowhere.

Hard to lose a game against the worst team in the league whose QB throws 3 picks, but we found a way. This easily works it's way into our top 10 most embarrassing games since the return.

Their last two games in Jacksonville they've intercepted the Jaguars a combined 7-8 times I believe.

Both losses.

In 2010 the Browns forced 6 turnovers against the Jags, still lost. Just can't fucking beat that team for what ever reason.

EDIT: Nevermind, I'm dumb.

Stopped watching at halftime and went outside. Great decision. Starting to feel like 6-10. Play like a Brown...

Last I checked this was our first full game without Mack, our injuries on the D-line have been killing us, and we couldn't run the ball today. Yet we still have our next two games against the Raiders and the Bucs and a chance to be 5-3 going into Cincinnati. Bad games happen. The Bengals only had 8 first downs today and the Seahawks got beat by the Rams.

The Bengals suck though.

I'll give you Seattle...I guess...even though they look weak af this year.

What the hell, it's one game against a team that has tormented the Browns historically. I don't count double. Look, this team isn't at the level where we can start chalking up games as wins before they're played. If they win the next two- still entirely possible- they'll still be 5-3 going into Cincinnati on November 6. The opportunity for a good season is still there.

I hear what you are saying, but until we get at least one 8-8 season, why should we think things will be different?

I am most disappointed in the coaching.

On to the next one.

I wouldn't blame anyone for expecting the worst. I'm just saying that, even with today's outcome, the Browns still have every opportunity to have success this year.

Maybe I'm taking this well because I didn't have a good feeling about this game going in. Road game a week after an emotional win against an opponent that has always given them problems- this had letdown written all over it. I didn't expect them to play well.

What's disheartening is that once again this team was just unable to handle success. They've got to be able to sustain good play week after week. They haven't done it.

Just finished the replay. Is it bad that as soon as I realized the Jaguars were 0-6 coming into the game, I knew we'd lose? We've always been that team and that kind of result was inevitable. Even with the way we've been playing, it was just the Cleveland thing to do. I'm trying not to be too irrational given the positive things we've shown this season, but this was a huge step in the wrong direction - very hard to recover from at this point in the season.

Anyway, way too many botched plays, bad mistakes, and amatuer football on display - it really was less than embarassing. When the opposing QB throws 3x TOs and you still lose the game, you know it's time to take a good hard look at yourself in the mirror, that's for sure. It was as simple as that today - nothing more, nothing less.

I didn't watch much of the game nor did I pay attention in here but why was Poyer fielding the ball at the 2 yard line to begin with?

I agree, it was funny, even my wife who just watches, was like why would he try to catch it at the goal line, why not let it bonce into the endzone and get it at the 20.
